Matt and Brenna first met in 2010 when a mutual friend (Maddie Verbeke) introduced them at Michigan Stare University. In 2011 they made things official and the rest is history.

In October 2019, celebrating their 8 year anniversery, Matt and Brenna took a trip to Traverse City. When they got into town they went on a hike. At the top of a sand dune, Matt got down on one knee and Brenna said YES! They celebrated by calling friends and family in between visiting wineries.
