Matt is one of the most patient and loving people I know. He's an introvert to the core, but also works so hard to understand people as a whole, but especially me. When I'm with Matt I feel the safety to freely be myself; to explore and grow and even make mistakes along the way. We are opposites in the best of ways; he's the calm to my ebbs and flows, the spontaneity to my planner, and brings laughter to my days.

Someone asked recently about how long I've known Hannah and I realized it's been about a decade since we met! I officially gained her as my sister when my brother, Daniel, married her 5 years ago. Hannah is one of the most bubbly people I know; her personality truly lights up a room. I'm so thankful to have her by my side on our wedding day, and all the days to come.

Brittany and I have worked together for 4 years. She is an amazing special education teacher and always puts her kids first. She is one of my biggest supporters both at work, and as a friend. I've found my soft place to land in my relationship with Matt, but I've also been blessed to have found that aspect in my friendship with Brittany as well.

Ted has been my best friend since a girl broke both of our hearts in the 6th grade. Since then we've grown up by each other and have spent countless days laughing together. I could not have made it to where I am today without our time together. Even in our busiest of times we're always able to call each other and talk about whatever is bothering us.

A long time friend of both of us, Ashlyn and I would not be together without Grayson. He introduced us and has supported us throughout our entire relationship. Even though his work has kept him physically distant from us at times, we're thankful to have a spiritual connection through Christ and we are thankful for Grayson's constant example and dedication.

Dog of Honor

Finley is 15 months old and the best mini Golden Doodle you've ever met! His constant love and affection bring so much joy to my life, as well as to others. Matt and Finley share a mutual affection; anytime Matt is over Finley gets so excited he starts doing zoomies around the house and thinks every moment is playtime. I desperately wanted him to be at our wedding, but his zest for life, and his need to be the center of attention made it such that it would be a bit challenging 😉. So, Finley will be with us in spirit today, while he enjoys playtime with a friend, but he definitely still deserves his title as my Dog of Honor.
