June 5 is First Friday, a monthly downtown event where many art galleries stay open late and special pop-up events take place throughout Raleigh. One of our favorite stops is Artspace, which features rotating exhibitions and booths showcasing local artists.

A favorite late night dessert stop. Bittersweet has amazing dessert cocktails and drinks. A line can start forming the later it gets, but its worth the wait!

A longtime favorite of ours from our college days, Raleigh Beer Garden holds the world record for the largest selection of beers on tap—over 350! It’s a great place to grab a beer, play lawn games, and get in a few rounds of mini golf.

The North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences is a free activity and a great way to pass time before the wedding. It features exhibits with dinosaur bones, live animals, and plenty of interactive educational experiences.
