Matt and Amanda first “swiped right” in November 2020, beginning with a conversation that went only as far as a simple “Hey.” Shortly after, Matt sent Amanda’s profile picture to his group chat, where a mutual friend immediately recognized her. The message quickly made its way to that friend’s wife, who happened to know Amanda, and with a little encouragement, the connection was set in motion. The rest, as they say, is history. Five years later, their family includes their beloved golden retriever, Leia, and their cats, Jameson and Bailey. In December 2024, they purchased land with plans to build their dream home, with construction beginning soon. Before the house is complete, there’s just one final step to make it official. Although they once said they’d never choose a country club wedding, in July 2026, they’ll be celebrating at one—a fitting setting for Matt’s life in golf and the start of their next chapter together.
