What food & drinks will be at the reception?

Answer

For dinner there will be buffet style fajitas! There will also be a vegetarian meal option. Most of the meal will be gluten-free. There will be a cash bar at the reception, which will include beer, wine, and mixed drinks.

Are we allowed to bring a plus one?

Answer

Since there is limited space and we wish to celebrate this special occasion with our family and closest friends, the only guests will be those whose name is on the invitation.

Why did you choose The Oasis for your wedding and ceremony?

Answer

The Oasis was the location of our first date, and it seemed only appropriate that it be where we also tie the knot. Also the views and sunset cannot be beat, so have your cameras ready!

The Oasis is a big place, how do we find the location for the wedding/ceremony?

Answer

Correct, The Oasis is practically its own small city. Guests will be escorted away from the line for the main restaurant to an elevator that will take them to The Top of The Oasis. We recommend arriving a little early in order to find parking and get to the top, as The Oasis tends to be rather busy on Friday evenings.

With the wedding being outdoors in the early summer, how should we dress?

Answer

Dress nice but do consider the weather. The venue is outdoor/indoor but also fully under cover so that rain will not be an issue. We recommend checking the weather forecast for Austin, TX routinely before the day of the wedding as weather in this area tends to change rapidly.
