While living in Saint Louis, MO, Ali T. became good friends with her neighbor Ali Berner (Ali B.). As kids, they would play Barbies, "ship", "cars", Groovy Girls...etc. Meanwhile down in Texas, Matt and his neighbor Ben became friends and hung out, getting into all sorts of boyhood mischief. Ali B. and Ben eventually met as teachers working at the same school and were married. At their wedding in Texas, Ben introduced Ali T. to Matt saying his "best man needed someone to dance with", and the happy couple danced the night away....somewhat clumsily. Ali T. returned to Minnesota dreaming of that happy night. A few days later, Matt finds Ali T. on Facebook and messages her. After a year of a distanced relationship, Ali T. decides the time is right to take the relationship to the next level; after all, you either take risks in life or you don't. While on vacation in Flagstaff, AZ with her family and Matt, Ali T. is offered a job in Austin TX. Joyfully accepting the job offer, Ali T. moves to Austin, Texas to be with Matt. The rest, as they say, is history. On Christmas morning 2020, Matt proposed and Ali responded with an enthusiastic "Yes". Could there be a better way to end that crazy year? Well, things only continue to trend up as we look forward to celebrating our love with all of you on June 10th, 2022!
