We will be getting married on the grounds of historic Valley Forge National Historical Park—the same grounds that witnessed a bitter winter encampment of the Continental Army under General George Washington. What happened at Valley Forge nearly 250 years ago is a great American story of resilience and perseverance. On Friday morning at 10:00 am we have arranged, exclusively for our guests, a 90-minute-plus trolley tour of Valley Forge Park. Alexandra’s uncle, Bob Pigeon, who is a history volunteer at the park, will lead the tour and tell the story (and a few back stories) of how Washington’s volunteer army endured and emerged a coherent and effective fighting force. There are a limited number of spots available for this tour, so if you’d like to sign up, please RSVP on the Website or reach out to Alexandra. Closer to the wedding date, Bob will email you details about the tour.
For out of town guests, one of the largest malls in the country. Forget shoes or a tie? The mall is 10 minutes down the road.
