Yes! Please be sure to bring whatever is needed to make your family comfortable at an outdoor wedding and reception.
Yes, they can be present at the campground! However, we ask that our furry friends do not join for the ceremony or reception. Furry friends need to be on leash at all times in the campground!
Since our wedding is at a campground, our guests are encouraged to tent camp or stay in vans or RVs for free! There are options for nearby lodging for those who prefer that. Please see the “Travel and Lodging” tab for more information.
Please bring your own camping gear! Everyone must provide their own sleeping bags and any other camping gear they require to be comfortable sleeping outdoors! There are plenty of spots for tent camping. There is no water available at campground, so you will need to bring your own water jug. If you want to cook food you will need to bring your own cooler and stove. Pack it in, pack it out, and use leave-no-trace tactics. There is a dumpster for trash at the campground. There are tables and a fire pit at the group campsite. There is no electric hook-up for vans or RV's. They need to be self-sufficient. If you have any questions please reach out.
There are bathrooms with stalls and pit toilets available at the reception Lake Loop, and standard pit toilets at the Forest Loop. We will have hand sanitizer available, as well as two handwashing stations.
No, unfortunately there are no showers at the campground. You will need to get a hotel or Airbnb for showers. Or go to the Silverthorne or Breckenridge rec center for shower facilities.
No, unfortunately there are no electric hooks ups for RVs at the campground.
August is one of the most pleasant months in the mountains! You can expect sunny days with highs in the 70’s and lows at night in the high 30’s/low 40’s. However, due to classic mountain weather, be prepared for sudden rain showers that can end as quickly as they started.
We will provide the reception dinner on 8/16. Please be sure to bring your own food or snacks if you are camping/staying at the campground.
If you have a Plus One, it will be listed on your invitation. If it is not listed on your invitation and you feel it should be, please reach out to us and we can see if there is flexibility in our total guest count.
Yes! Please see our Registry tab on the website.
Yes, we are working on a shuttle for guests staying at the hotel where we have our room block. If you are not camping we highly encourage you to please use the shuttle, as parking space is limited at the campground.
Ceremony will start at 400pm. We recommend guests to arrive earlier around 330pm.
Swimming is not allowed in Lake Dillon Reservoir primarily due to safety concerns related to the extremely cold water temperatures, which are caused by the high altitude and snowmelt feeding the lake, making prolonged skin contact dangerous; Denver Water, which manages the reservoir, prohibits swimming and other water contact sports for this reason. Although you cant swim in the lake, paddle-boarding, kayaking, and fishing are allowed and you can access from the beach just below the reception site.
We have reserved both campsites from Friday Aug 15 (check in 2:00pm) through Sunday Aug 17 (check out 12:00pm).
