Always & Forever is Finally Here!

As Dan Warren would say, “These Millennials!” Matt and Nicki’s story is a mixture of online dating, persistence and a twist of fate. As anyone that knows them would tell you, they have each had their fair share of struggles when it came to finding someone that they felt compelled to spend their lives with and also someone that would stick around for all their shenanigans! Let’s face it, they’re both a handful! Back in early 2019, Matt and Nicki were two of the 22 million people looking for love on online. “Her beautiful smile and she looked fun”, is what initially drew Matt to “swipe right” on Nicki. But, in typical Nicki fashion, she waited until 20 minutes before her deadline was up to reach out to Matt. “I almost missed my window” is something they still joke about to this day. Matt knew right away he was going to have his hands full! After 2 months of being persistent, Nicki finally agreed to go on a date. On Father’s Day, Matt drove down to Charlotte and they had their first date at no other than Top Golf! Are you surprised?! Matt says that he knew right away that he was going to love Nicki – “she had an infectious laugh, is so beautiful, crazy smart and loves her family”. To this day, Matt continues to send her a picture he took of her on their first date as a reminder that it was love from the beginning. For Nicki however, she didn’t “know” right away. After a couple of months and their first beach trip, her feelings for Matt were solidified. Not only was Matt insanely hilarious, intelligent, and strikingly handsome but the way he treated the ones he loves and cares about was something Nicki knew she wanted, and needed, in her life. In just the few short months following, the two were engaged….on the beach, where their love story began. The road travelled hasn’t always been easy but it has all been worth it. Nicki and Matt are thrilled about their future together and cannot wait to celebrate with family and friends on April 3, 2021.
