We love all the little ones in our lives, but to help ensure a quiet and meaningful ceremony, we kindly request that it be adults-only, with the exception of our flower angels (our nieces and nephews). We will have a group of wedding nannies to look after the children and provide entertainment for them in the hotel while the ceremony takes place in the wedding garden. We will send all of their information to parents ahead of time. Of course, if you would rather look after your little ones during the ceremony yourself, that's completely fine! All children are welcome to join us for the celebration at cocktail hour and the reception afterward! We appreciate your understanding and support in helping us create a peaceful atmosphere for this special moment.
Due to venue capacity, we are limiting plus ones to spouses, fiancés, and bridal party dates. If your guest is included on your invitation, their name will appear when you RSVP. We love you and wish we could invite everyone!
Weather permitting, the ceremony will take place outdoors in the Wedding Garden and the reception will follow in the covered outdoor Sweetgrass Pavilion. We’ll share final details closer to the date, but we suggest bringing a light layer in case of a cool evening. In the event of inclement weather, both the ceremony and reception will be held indoors in the Diamond Ballroom.
No transportation is needed once you arrive at Minerals Hotel. The ceremony and reception will take place on-site, just a short walk from guest rooms.
Yes! Free self-parking is available at the hotel for all guests.
If Minerals Hotel is fully booked, there are several great nearby options to consider. Grand Cascades Lodge and Cascades Lodge are both part of Crystal Springs Resort and offer beautiful accommodations with access to luxury amenities like pools, spas, and golf. The Appalachian Hotel—also referred to as Mountain Creek Resort Lodging—is another excellent choice, featuring condo-style suites with kitchenettes and a pool and hot tub on-site. Additionally, there are plenty of charming inns and Airbnbs in the Vernon and Warwick areas for guests looking for a more private or cozy stay. We recommend booking at Minerals Hotel early through our room block, as fall is a popular time to visit and rooms tend to fill quickly.

We will be hosting an intimate rehearsal dinner the night before the wedding with the bridal party and immediate family members, everyone else can eat at one of the other dining options on site or in Vernon. We will be hosting a farewell brunch on Sunday after the wedding. All other meals will be on your own, with several great dining options at the resort and nearby. Invitations and timing details will be shared closer to the date.

September in Vernon is typically mild and beautiful, with daytime highs ranging from the low to mid-70s°F and cooler evenings in the upper 50s to low 60s°F. That said, temperatures in recent years have occasionally trended warmer—sometimes reaching the upper 70s. Early signs of fall foliage may begin to appear, especially in the surrounding hills. We recommend checking the forecast closer to the weekend and bringing layers just in case!
We recommend comfortable dress shoes—especially since the ceremony is outdoors. Ladies may want to avoid skinny heels on grass.
Yes, parts of the weekend will take place outside. We suggest bringing a light sweater or jacket for the evening temperatures.
