We have chosen to get married at the Finest Punta Cana resort in the Dominican Republic. The resort offers family-friendly areas as well as secluded adults-only offerings. There are seven onsite pools (including 3 swim up pools), twelve restaurants, sixteen bars including a juice bar, a coffee and ice-cream shop, kid-friendly mini water pools, a kids club, a nightclub, gym and a spa. There are over 20 different room type options, some of which include options to upgrade to "Finest" (Family-friendly) and "Excellence Club" (Adults-only) should you wish. The FAQ section has some more information on the upgrade options. Please note children up to 4 years of age are free and children up to 12 years of age are half the adult price. The resort operates on an All Inclusive basis meaning all food and drink is included in the price you pay. As the website says "IT'S ALWAYS FIVE O'CLOCK AT FINEST PUNTA CANA!"

Our “Hidden Gem” - Rachel

We are working with Rachel Kaufman and Hidden Gem Travel as our direct Travel Agent for accommodation bookings. If you have any questions regarding the resort, room categories, how the promo code works, or anything else, please email Rachel at: weddings@hiddengem-travel.com. Rachel (or her assistant Blake) will reply to emails within 1 business day. You can also schedule a phone call with Rachel by clicking the "View" button in this section. Rachel will be able to answer any questions for U.S. guests, and has limited information on what she can advise for U.K. guests. Rachel is super helpful and will be more than happy to recommend flights, discuss the resort and even things to do outside of the resort. While Rachel cannot advise U.K. residents on entry requirements to the Dominican Republic, some information is provided in the FAQ section.

Staying at the resort

We have a promo code set up specifically for guests of our wedding which entitles you to discounted resort rates. To make use of the discount you are required to use the promo code when making your booking. The promo code is only valid for bookings made direct with the resort, it will not work with any third party website such as Expedia etc. Additionally, we have been fortunate to have Rachel negotiate an extension of our promo code meaning the discounted rates are available for any duration between July 20 - August 3, 2025 (7 days prior to the wedding and 7 days after the wedding) so you're welcome to make your stay a full holiday in the Caribbean! Important information about booking at the resort: - When you make a booking you will be required to make a $1 payment authorisation. No further payment will be required until 30 days before your arrival. - You have the flexibility to modify (or cancel) your reservation an unlimited number of times until May 21, 2025. - The promo code is only valid on bookings made by May 21, 2025, therefore please bear in mind if you book or modify an existing booking after this date it will be subject to the resort's regular rates at the time. - Rates are locked for guests, BUT rooms and availability are not guaranteed.

How to make a booking

Ready to book your stay? 1. Go to www.finestresorts.com, or click the button in this section. 2. At the bottom of the screen, choose the resort (Finest Punta Cana), dates of stay and number of guests in your room. Enter the PROMO CODE based on your residency. US CITIZENS: LMWJUL25FPC UK CITIZENS: LMWJUL25FPCROW Ensure the currency is set to your preferred currency. If you are in the UK please ensure you select GBP as prices quoted are slightly lower in USD equivalent to account for the conversion rate, as the final payment will be billed in USD. 3. Select "Check Availability". DO NOT choose a "Suite + Flight" or "Non-refundable" stay, your room will not qualify for the promotional rates. 4. Select your preferred room category and click "Book". 5. Finest will only ask for the primary guest's name, date of birth, residency and email. If you do not have flights booked yet, you can simply select 3pm as your arrival time. 6. Once you are on the checkout page, the resort will ask for a $1 payment authorisation. Once you have provided your payment information your reservation will be secured and you will receive a confirmation email. Important Booking Information

When you make a reservation through Finest Resorts, you will see a hold for $1.00 placed on your credit card by the property name. This is a standard part of our security validation process, with no charge to you, and you might receive a notification from your bank. All visible rates on every single one of The Excellence Collection's websites are displayed in US dollars. You must present a credit card when you check in at the resort. A hold will be placed on your card to cover extra charges, such as spa services, gift shop purchases and more. Upon check-out, your credit card will be charged only for the amount incurred during your stay. Payment for your booking will be charged in full thirty (30) days prior to your arrival day to the credit card provided during the booking process. No partial payments are allowed. Please be sure you have the available limit on the credit card provided for final payment. Also note, payments are processed by Excellence Banks in Panama; please contact your credit card company to authorise charges. If payments are declined, your reservation may be canceled.

Airport Transfer & Tours Information

Luxury round-trip transportation from the airport to the resort is included in your reservation with Finest Punta Cana as standard if you stay for 3 nights or more. Transportation services are provided by Seasons Tours. Rachel will send an email to guests closer to travel with instructions on arranging transportation but you can also email directly ahead of that to arrange: transfers.domrep@seasonstours.com Once your transportation is arranged, Seasons Tours will send instructions on where to find them at the airport, depending upon your arrival terminal. Seasons Tours also has a tour desk at the resort, if you would like to arrange an excursion during your stay.
