Things To Do

Vermont is truly magical in the fall. We are excited to share some of our favorite spots with you in case you would like to explore before or after the wedding! The wedding will take place in Waitsfield, Vermont. There are a lot of great spots to visit within 30 minutes. If you are planning on spending a little more time we would highly recommend going a little further north (about 40 minutes) to Burlington, Vermont. Burlington is where we met and lived for many years and it will always hold a special place in our hearts!

Lawson’s Finest Liquids

155 Carroll Road, Waitsfield, VT 05673
, (802) 496-4677

Vermont is known for its craft brews. Lawson's brewery is only minutes from our wedding venue. If you can't make it to the brewery you can enjoy one of their most popular brews, Sip of Sunshine, at the wedding!

Cold Hollow Cider Mill

3600 Waterbury Stowe Road, Waterbury Center, VT 05677
, (800) 327-7537

Very Vermonty gifts and the best fresh cider donuts in the area!

Ben & Jerry’s

Vermont 100, Waterbury Village Historic District, VT 05676
, (866) 258-6877

Home of the world famous and ethically sourced ice cream! They have a great guided tour through the factory and a really cute ice cream graveyard where you can see all of their retired flavors. Also, a nice place to go, grab a cone, and sit outside.

Prohibition Pig

23 South Main Street, Waterbury Village Historic District, VT 05676
, (802) 244-4120

Mount Mansfield NDB VKN 268

Waterbury Center, VT 05677

If you are up for a challenge, you can take in the gorgeous views from Mount Mansfield, which is one of Vermont's five mountains over 4,000 feet. This is a pretty strenuous hike so plan for several hours, comfortable shoes, and lots of water/snacks.

Waterbury Center State Park

177 Reservoir Road, Waterbury Center, VT 05677
, (802) 244-1226

This gorgeous reservoir is a great place to go for a picnic and take in the views.

The Alchemist Stowe

100 Cottage Club Road, Stowe, VT 05672
, (802) 882-8165

Stowe Mountain Resort

5781 Mountain Road, Stowe, VT 05672
, (802) 253-3000

Stowe Mountain Resort offers gondola rides up the mountain to take in views of the foliage. There is also a little restaurant and bar at the top along with some hiking trails.

Bingham Falls

Stowe, VT 05672

We adore this spot. You can take an easy hike to some gorgeous waterfalls in the woods.

Idletyme Brewing Company

1859 Mountain Road, Stowe, VT 05672
, (802) 253-4765

More tasty brews, an awesome ambiance and delicious food!
