Maid of Honor

"OMG my favorite memory of us was probably two summers ago when we were living with your parents before we moved into our new house, and it was the perfect day for going on the lake… so we all piled into the car and headed to Cedar Lake! It was our great idea to go tubing… but little did we know how choppy the water was, and how determined my dad was to flip us both out of the tube!! We were in the sit-down blue tube, and kept hitting these MONSTER waves!! It was so much fun until we both got the WORST whiplash from one of the waves and had to call it quits… did i mention we were both a little buzzed too? LMAO. Great memory!! Love going out on the water with you !"

“I don’t have a favorite memory, all of them are my favorite...*sips beer*”

Ashlee Cotton

Maid of Honor

Ashlee's Favorite Memory of Alyssa One of my funniest stories with you.. Was when I picked you up from Henning's in the summer. We were cruising and jamming out when I managed to hit a bird with the corner of the car and your arm was out the window and the bird came back and hit your arm and you freaked out!

“Perhaps I’m having a hard time picking my favorite memory of us, because my favorite memory isn’t of a specific day or event but of how much our friendship has evolved, grown, and matured over the last 10 years. My favorite part of our friendship is not a specific memory but the mentality of our friendship-The way of being there for each other despite always being miles apart. My favorite part of our friendship is not a memory at all but of potential for future life experiences I know we’ll have together. So, my favorite memory of our friendship is not a memory, but the way in which you are a true friend to me. Our friendship is not one that only grows but one we grow into as we age. My favorite memory is the last 10 years of our friendship, because there has never been a dull moment.”

"We were teammates AND roommates in college so when we weren’t in class we were spending Every. Waking. Moment. Together. Making each other cry from laughing so hard during silent study tables in the library, getting lost in the spew of hospitals in Indy when we just wanted to find the McDonalds, and our 100's of late night talks after a Kilroy’s run are some memories that will always stick out as my favorite. Since then it’s been quite the adjustment figuring out what to do with ourselves as we try to “adult” now. I’m not sure how, but we are managing to stay as close as ever thanks to Instagram memes, unfiltered snap chats, and group messages. Alyssa will FOREVER be my go to girl when I need a laugh, a late night Taco Bell run, a vent session, or someone to help take a joke way too far."

"When you live with someone for two years, you really get to them. Alyssa is asking for a single, favorite moment. I could talk about one of our MANY hilarious drunken escapades, or having to “doctor up” one of her cysts. Or, I could even mention the summer we were both in anatomy and spent every waking second together, studying like crazy. But honestly, Alyssa my favorite moment(s) with you were the car rides where we’d just be jamming, screaming (on key) our lungs out to Adele and Bruno."

Taylor's Favorite Memory with Alyssa: "Being your roommate freshman year. I didn’t know how I’d feel about having a roommate at first but once season started you were my best friend that I could vent to about anything and we had each other’s backs. It’s my favorite memory because it was the start of our friendship!!!! Also great memory of us washing your feet in the toilet."

“When Alyssa and I first moved in together, we didn’t have anything in our living room besides a shag rug. We found an old, “hard as a rock” Cheerio while we were laughing and hanging out on this rug. Now we have this game where you make a bet, in this case “Sarah I bet you won’t eat that Cheerio” and on a count of three you both say a number. If you say the same number, you have to do the bet. Well, I lost and I’ve never laughed so hard in my life. Also the Cheerio wasn’t that bad.”

"Well where do I even start? That my first concert ever was Britney Spears and you were right by my side, or my first FAILED attempt at cheerleading (ew) was w you, or my first college party was w you... so many firsts over such a long period of time, but most importantly you were my first ever best friend and the first to be there for me! But honestly when I think of our childhood friendship I can’t help but to think of how we would stand in your driveway for HOURS and throw bouncy balls on the roof and watch them fall off LOL like why? We are so weird but I think that’s why we get along! But when i think of my memories overall with you they are all smiles and laughs and love, never one fight and it’s been going strong from toddlers to adults!!! Thankful for you and I love you!"

My favorite memory of us is when we went to the water park. You made me get over my fear of water slides. And we just got to hang out and be girls. But I also love how you are always there to help me and teach me softball. My favorite number is 5 because it is special to me. I remember the one time we went to BK and I was eating your fries and you were talking and making fun of it.

Anyone who has met Matson knows pretty much any interaction you have with her is going to be interesting. She is loud, outgoing, quirky, & THINKS she is funny. When I found out that they were hiring a DJ for the wedding, I threw away the earbuds I had already bought for the reception with joy. Any of my fellow Jags know that when “DJ Matty Ice” is in charge she plays the same 5 songs on repeat. While I’m not 100% hopeful this won’t happen at the wedding reception, at least there will be someone else in charge of music. I truly value my friendship with Matson. She is a loyal teammate & friend & would do anything for anyone who is a part of her life in a heartbeat. She is one of the hardest working people you will ever come across & I am excited to see where her and Devins future takes them.

“So many stories with this guy! Alrighty well one time me, Devin, and Evan we’re doing a lil gamblin’ at the horseshoe. Devin wasn’t having much luck and after a long night he was down to 1 last $25 chip. He decided to throw it on red at roulette and won and then started guessing black or red and continued to win! it was around 20 in a row!! I’ve had a lot of good times with Devin He’s a great friend.”
