Kristi is Shane's little big sister. From dressing Shane up in makeup to apple fights in the orchard, most of Kristi's favorite memories involve Shane. They have traveled together, chosen to live together, and share a lot of the same friends. He's even made her laugh so hard on several occasions that she has peed her pants (a fact she's not proud of). She can't wait for Caitlin to officially join the family so they can turn their friendship duo into the three amigos.

As her older brother he obviously has many memories from growing up together, but John's favorite time with Caitlin was exploring New Zealand while she did a semester abroad. She took him bungee jumping, spelunking, and to a rugby match. We both share a love of travel, so he can’t wait to celebrate Caitlin & Shane in Mexico.

Chris and Shane met doing what Seattle people do on Sundays: slamming beers and screaming GO HAWKS at a TV. They've been wearing matching Hawaiian shirts ever since. Chris organized tickets for a concert that ended up being Shane and Caitlin's first date. The chemistry was obvious to Chris then and only got stronger from there! He's been lucky to witness so much of their relationship over the years. Their dogs (Kramer and Maui) are best friends too!

Maggie Green

Caitlin and Maggie rowed together and against each other in high school; you could call it a competitive friendship. We spent school breaks together with bonfires on Alki, karaoke at Ozzies, and photoshoots at Volunteer Park. Caitlin jokingly set Maggie up with her brother which led us to becoming sisters-in-law 3 years later. Maggie feels so lucky to be friends and sisters with Caitlin and is looking forward to walking down the aisle as she marries her best friend.

Joel McGrath

Joel knows Shane from Agapeland Daycare. They became best friends early on - Joel thought Shane had a cute sister, and Shane thought Joel's head was big enough to make fun of. Joel is so glad he gets to watch one of his best friends get married to his new best friend and can't wait to congratulate Shane and Caitlin!

Caitlin and Rachel have been friends since the third week of freshman year (the first two weeks, Caitlin was too cool), and their shared love of unicorns, day drinking, kayaking with orcas, and spontaneous island getaways has kept their friendship flourishing. Rachel can't wait to add a wedding in Mexico to their list of adventures.

Austin and Shane have gotten up to a ton of shenanigans over the years. From getting freaky at the tiki to waking up at 4am to dig a hole at the beach, there was never a dull moment living and travelling together. And thanks to Shane, Austin now has his awesome nickname - Yagsnitsua.

Bryn and Caitlin dressed up as Mary Kate & Ashley for Halloween as freshmen and haven't looked back. A shared love of country music took them from making signs to get on the jumbotron at a Brad Paisley concert (a picture which is still Bryn's phone background a decade later) to gallivanting around at Stagecoach. Their friendship has had no shortage of adventures, and Bryn is excited to join Caitlin as she starts the most exciting adventure of all!

The competition never ends, and the bets get bigger. Paul and Shane's friendship and carp-shooting rivalry run deep, with 23 years of memories and new, exiting, interesting times together every year.

An act of fate matched Natalie and Caitlin as roommates freshman year at Georgetown, and we became the infamous roomie frisbee playing duo! We continued as roommates for next 3 years, pushing our twin beds together for endless laughs and snuggles. Natalie is beyond happy to have Caitlin in her life as she has shaped her in many ways (for good :) ) and is honored to stand by Caitlin in this next chapter.
