What are my travel options?
Answer
We understand the keweenaw it is a long way to travel for many and appreciate everyone who is able to take the journey. For guests looking to fly we recommend flying into one of the following airports: Houghton County Memorial (CMX), which will place you in the same town as our wedding Marquette Sawyer Regional (MQT), which is 1.5 hours east of our ceremony Ford Airport (IMT), which is 2 hours south of our ceremony. Please note Iron Mountain is on Central Time After making the drive many times ourselves the best way we have found to drive through the U.P. when coming from the L.P. is getting on U.S. 2 in St. Ignace, to M 77, to M 28, and then U.S. 41. If you have further questions on this please reach out to the couple!

Where Should I Stay?
Answer
While we are not blocking off hotel rooms for guests, there are multiple chain hotels located in Houghton's downtown such as Hampton Inn, Holiday Inn, Quality Inn, and Super 8. For those looking for a more scenic stay, recommend looking into one of the many Airbnbs or rental cabins in the Keweenaw. To be close to the ceremony and reception you should look to stay to stay no further north than Calumet, no further east than Chassell, no further south/west than South Range. Where exactly is the ceremony?
Answer
The ceremony is located at one of the lower falls at a local waterfall called Hungarian Falls. Unfortunately there is not a numbered address, but when you put Hungarian Falls into your GPS (andriod or iphone, maps or google maps all work the same ) you will be routed to the trail head. Please parallel park on the road. There will be signs indicating the trail head.

I am worried about getting from the trailhead to the ceremony.
Answer
To ease any worry please know this is a well maintained, highly trafficed, and flat trail that will be approximately half a mile. Markers will be placed to direct guests to the correct waterfall. There will be sprightly friends of the couple at the trail head who will be happy to assist anyone feeling uncertain. We recommend bringing shoes you feel comfortable walking a short distance in the woods in for this portion of the day.

Answer
Anything under the categories of Semi-formal or Cocktail. Please no shorts, jeans, or flip flops

Transport options around the Keweenaw
Answer
Please be aware there are limited options in the way of public transport around the Keweenaw. Rental Cars through Enterprise are availble at airports, it is advised to reserve in advance. There is only one lyft driver and one taxi that service the entire area. Please plan your transport from the reception with this in mind.

Answer
Cocktail hour will start at 4 with dinner to follow soon after. We will have an open bar for guests of age. Dinner will be buffet style dinner with salad, mashed potatoes, pasta, and carne asada. There is no kids option. The vegetarian option will be a grilled vegetable main course.
