At the base of all good relationships is a strong friendship. In our case, the friendship began when we became roommates; and yes, that should be the plot of a fantasy novel. As we shared the struggles of engineering degrees, visited Macomb for holidays, and became engrossed in one another's circle; something more blossomed. A shared sense of humor, passion for music, volunteering, and late night wine chats over the last 2 years have lead Matias to pop the question on a rather snowy evening at our favorite Keweenaw waterfall. We look forward to everyone joining us at the same waterfall this August!
