Flight
JetBlue offers two direct flights per day from JFK to Martha's Vineyard (MVY). Cape Air offers direct flights from JFK, Westchester, and Boston to Martha's Vineyard (MVY). If you fly into Boston, there are car services and buses from Boston Logan to the ferries.
Travel Note
The Woods Hole ferry takes 45 minutes and runs almost hourly to Vineyard Haven or Oak Bluffs - either destination is fine. It's the only option to bring cars across (you must reserve a spot for your car in advance). The Peter Pan bus runs from Boston Logan airport to the ferry (takes about two hours).
Travel Note
The Seastreak from New Bedford takes 1 hour. It's smaller and runs less frequently than the Woods Hole ferry, so reservations are advised. For tickets, please call 800-262-8743 and ask for the Milch-Whitlow wedding group rate. The Seastreak shuttle runs from the Providence train station to the ferry (takes about 45 minutes).
Travel Note
The Quonset ferry takes 1 hour and 45 minutes. It's smaller and runs less frequently than the Woods Hole ferry, so reservations are advised. There is a shuttle service from the Providence airport (takes about 15 minutes) and from the Providence train station (takes about 25 minutes).
