Question

How can I get around the island?

Answer

If you're staying down island (Edgartown, Oak Bluffs, Vineyard Haven), you will be able to walk to restaurants, shops, etc. Up island (Chilmark, West Tisbury, Aquinnah) is fairly remote, so you'll need to drive to restaurants, shops, etc. Taxis and Uber / Lyft operate on the island. If you're up island, bake in a bit of extra time because it can take them 15-20 minutes to get to you.

Will you be providing transportation?

Answer

Yes - shuttles will be running between the Harborside Inn in Edgartown and the Friday night welcome party in Oak Bluffs, as well as the wedding in Chilmark on Saturday. Edgartown is a 15-minute drive to Oak Bluffs and a 25-minute drive to Chilmark.

Will there be parking?

Answer

For the welcome party on Friday, you can typically find street parking in Oak Bluffs. For the wedding on Saturday, there will be parking provided close to the event (exact location TBD).
