Huso Lodge

1 Gamle Eikrestølvegen, Hemsedal, Buskerud 3560, Norway

All of our guests will be staying at Huso Lodge, right at the wedding venue, with all events taking place on-site. This includes our Friday welcome dinner, Saturday ceremony, reception, and after party, as well as Sunday brunch. The lodge features fully equipped kitchens in each unit, including cookware, utensils, dishes, coffee machines, refrigerators, and other essentials. High-speed Wi-Fi is available throughout the property, and hair dryers and clothing irons are also provided for your convenience. Since there’s a bit of travel to get here, we recommend arriving at Huso Lodge on Friday, July 16th, no later than 4:00 PM, so you have plenty of time to check in, relax, and unwind before the celebrations begin—but you’re welcome to arrive earlier in the day if you’d like to get settled in. ***Once the booking link for Huso Lodge is available, we’ll share it here so you can reserve your stay. In the meantime, please save the date—more details coming soon!***

Rental Car

Getting to Huso Lodge

There are a few different ways to get to Huso Lodge, depending on what suits you best. Option 1 – Rental Car (Recommended) For the most flexibility, you can rent a car at Oslo Airport. The drive to Huso Lodge takes about 3–3.5 hours, giving you the freedom to stop along the way and enjoy the beautiful Norwegian scenery. Rental Car options at Oslo Airport: Hertz, Avis, Europcar, and Sixt Option 2 - Express Bus Depending on departure time, you may also take the Vy express bus (VY170) from Oslo Bus Terminal to Hemsedal. We recommend checking the Vy app or vy.no for the most up-to-date route and departure times. Option 3 – Train & Bus For the most budget-friendly option, take the Airport Express (Flytoget) from Oslo Airport to Oslo Central Station (Oslo S) — it’s only 20–25 minutes. From there, hop on a Vy regional train to Gol Station (about 2 ¾–3 hours), and complete the journey with a local bus/taxi (about 30-40 minutes) or coordinate with us via the button below so we can arrange a pickup from Gol Station to Huso Lodge. Helpful Links: Flytoget: https://flytoget.no/en/
Vy: https://www.vy.no/en Tickets: Tickets can be booked in advance through the Vy app or at vy.no, and we recommend doing so for the smoothest journey.

Traveling to or from Bergen

While flying into Oslo will likely be the easiest option for most of you, Bergen is also a great choice if you’d like to include it in your Norway travels. You can travel by train from Bergen to Gol on the Bergen Railway, which is considered one of Norway’s most scenic train journeys. Tickets can be booked in advance through the Vy app or at vy.no, and we recommend doing so for the smoothest journey.
