Our story started as any normal story would. We met at Planet Fitness gym, where Mathew was working at the time and signed me up. He persisted on getting my number and at first wasn't too sure so I told him no. After 3 months of me rejecting him, I gave in and gave him my snapchat. We messaged back and forth, and our first date was at Carl's Jr. She was on lunch break from work and had only enough time for burgers and so on that date she wanted an orange Fanta and got mad at me when I pointed out that was a baby drink. That was over 8 years ago. Our anniversary is May 8, 2023, at 8:30pm. One day we decided it would be a good idea to conquer the Incline together and at the top Mathew told me that he loved me for the first time. Mathew then finished his last semesters in college and graduated then wanted to leave Pueblo for Fort Collins to grow as a person. Aby was supportive of my goals and helped me pack up and move me to my new place in Fort Collins. I tried breaking up with Mathew but as we all know he is hard headed and he told me "no". I explained to him long distance relationships are hard and he did not care. He told me everything would work out fine and we could make it work. We alternated weekends for about a year and would travel back and forth. Mathew moved back to Pueblo about a year after he moved. We lived in Aby’s small 1 bedroom apartment for a year and then moved into a house to rent. We brought Aby's son (Mr. Ginger) and made sure he had his own room in the new place. Once we were settled Mathew told me that he would love me forever and gave me a promise ring. Soon after that, we then got our first daughter Ella. She was so small, and the cat hated us for months for bringing in another animal. Ella brought joy to our little family that we didn't know we needed. After 4 short months Zadie joined our little family and Ella was ecstatic to have a sister. With Zadie our little family was complete. We bought our house in September 2022. We had “Family Photos” planned in June this last year and that is when Mathew proposed. He had everything planned out and had the dogs run to us with a bandana that said “Mommy, will you marry my Daddy?”. She did not ugly cry like I wanted. We will be together 9 years in May. This was just the start of our adventure, and we can't wait to start the next chapter of our life as Husband and Wife.
