We're Getting Married!

Eddie y María se conocieron inicialmente en un día de playa de la congregación. Aunque no pasó nada y fue solo un encuentro de "Hola y Adiós", Eddie admite que empezó a mostrar algo de interés en María en la playa ese día. Un par de semanas después, Maria y Eddie se vieron de nuevo en la fiesta de aniversario de sus padres y fue entonces cuando realmente se conocieron. María “le enseñó a bailar” algunas canciones y tuvieron algunas conversaciones agradables. Después de la fiesta de aniversario, María y Eddie se hicieron amigos mutuos de un grupo de jovenes, y aunque siguieron siendo simplemente amigos, Eddie empezó a enamorarse ese día. 7 meses después, María y algunos amigos hicieron un grupo para ir a SeaWorld. En algún momento, María y Eddie entablaron algunas conversaciones agradables e interesantes y Eddie sabía que ella era la indicada. A partir de ese momento, trató de ver si había algún interés del otro lado, pero Maria era difícil de leer. Para la dicha de Eddie (y Maria), volverían a ir a ese parque una semana después. La semana siguiente, el día 14 de Mayo de 2023, todos fueron a SeaWorld de nuevo. María empezó el día preguntándole a todos sus amigos si le harían un favor: "Si les doy el dinero, ¿pueden jugar ese partido de baloncesto por mí e intentar ganarme un Husky?" Este fue la oportunidad perfecta para Eduardo. A estas alturas, María empezó a darse cuenta de que Eddie estaba enamorado de ella. Poco a poco Eduardo lo hizo obvio que tenia sentimientos hacia ella, pero cuando María le pregunto a su mama si ella también se había fijado, respondió con "No, María, simplemente es dulce y amable". Pero María se apegó a su teoría. En algún momento Maria entró en una tienda con su prima Abigail y Karen. Cuando estaba a punto de salir de la tienda, vio a todos sus amigos en fila tratando de ganarle el Husky. Pero entre todos, se fijo en Eduardo. En vez de salir a ver qué estaba pasando, entró en la tienda corriendo. Minutos después, Fiona la llamó y le preguntó "Rosado, Amarillo o Azul?" María sabía que estaba hablando de los collares de los diferentes Huskies. Pero estaba nerviosa por responder, pensó: "¿Y si Eddie me gano el husky... y ahora?" "Azul", respondió. Ella salió, y allí estaba él, sosteniendo un husky gris con un collar azul y una sonrisa enorme. Ella consiguió exactamente lo que quería ese día al igual que el.

Eddie and Maria initially met at a congregation beach day. Although nothing happened and it was only a ‘Hi & Bye’ encounter, Eddie admits that he started to find interest in Maria at the beach that day. A couple of weeks later Maria & Eddie met again at her parents anniversary party and that’s when they actually got to know each other. Maria “taught him” how to dance a few songs and they had some nice conversations. After the anniversary party Maria and Eddie became mutual friends in a group of young ones, and although they remained simple friends Eddie started to have a crush on her that day. 7 Months later Maria and some friends made a group to go to SeaWorld. At some point in SeaWorld Maria and Eddie struck some nice and interesting conversations and Eddie knew she was the one. From that point on he tried to see if there was any interest on her end, but Maria was difficult to read at times. Luckily they would go to SeaWorld again the following week. The very next week on May 14th 2023 they all went to SeaWorld again. Maria started off the day with asking all her friends if they’d do her a favor, “If I give you guys the money, can you play that basketball game for me and try to win a Husky?” This was the perfect opportunity for Eduardo. Though, by now Maria started catching on that Eddie had a crush on her. He was making it slightly obvious with small things he’d do around her, but when Maria asked her mom if she saw it too, her mom replied with “No Maria, he’s just really sweet and friendly.” But Maria stuck to her theory. At some point she went into a store with her cousin Abigail and Karen. Right when she was about to step out of the store, she saw all her friends lined up trying to win her a Husky. Though amongst all of them, she focused on Eddie. Instead of walking out to see what was going on, she went into the store nervous since she caught on that Eddie liked her and would try and win her a husky. Minutes later Fiona called her and asked “Pink, Yellow, or Blue.” Maria knew she was talking about the collars on the Huskies. She was nervous to answer because she thought “What if Eddie won me the husky… then what?” “Blue” she replied. She walked out, and there he was, holding a grey husky with a blue collar and a huge smile on his face. She got exactly what she wanted that day and so did he.
