Question

Where do I park?

Answer

City Center Parking Garage (24E W 7th Street, Covington) has ample paid parking and is less than a block from the venue, on 7th between Madison Ave and Scott Streets. They accept cash and credit cards. North by Hotel Covington (across the street from the event center) also offers valet parking. Street parking is limited.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We suggest typical wedding cocktail or semi-formal attire.

Question

Are there any Thursday or Saturday events?

Answer

Nothing formal is planned but the bride and groom WILL be out and about in Covington on Halloween (not too late though!) and Saturday afternoon/evening. Get a link to the locations in the "Things to Do" section.

Question

Is the wedding indoor or outdoors?

Answer

Both the service and reception will be located indoors within The Madison Event Center.

Question

Are children allowed at the event?

Answer

This is an adult-only reception, with the exception of a few close family members. Unfortunately we are unable to accommodate all of the wonderful children in our life. Thanks for understanding.

Question

What airport should I fly into and where should I stay?

Answer

The Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG) is nearby. See the "Travel" section for hotel ideas.

Question

Should I rent a car?

Answer

If you are coming from the airport and staying near the wedding/in the Downtown area, you could easily use Lyft and Uber to get around instead of renting a car. A car would come in handy if you decide to take a day trip, such as checking out the Bourbon Trail. Covington and the Downtown Cincinnati area are also very walkable.

Question

How long should I visit Cincinnati?

Answer

You could easily make a long weekend out of Cincinnati and/or add in some neighboring areas. Check out the "Things to Do" section for some ideas. Hint: there's lots to do if you like bourbon! As mentioned, the bride and groom will be around Thursday night and Saturday for casual hanging out (check out the "Things to Do" section for details). The Downtown Covington area is a popular nightlife area and will probably be pretty hopping all weekend.
