We celebrated our first Valentine's Day here. Madeline particularly enjoys the fashion exhibits. You can spend a whole day here or just an hour, there is a lot to see! Admission is free on the Frist Friday of the month from 3pm-7pm, which will conveniently be March 4th, the night before the wedding!
About a 20-minute Uber drive from downtown, you will find the Desert Botanical Garden which offers self-paced and guided tours throughout a beautiful desert landscape showcasing native plants. The restaurant on-site, Gertrude's Cafe is delicious for a light lunch or evening cocktails.

Mat and I love hiking the Phoenix trails! If you have a few hours or a full day to spare, we definitely recommend checking out some hikes. The closest mountain range to Downtown Phoenix is South Mountain. There are 101 trail options throughout the preserve. Find one on the All Trails website listed below.
