Question

Are you taking any COVID-19 precautions?

Answer

Our plan will remain to require all guests to complete a rapid covid test within 24 hours of the ceremony (beginning at 5:30 pm on Saturday, March 5th) and show proof of negative test results. Home tests are okay. Masks will be required for the entire duration of the ceremony per our officiant's requests. For the reception, masks are optional. Thank you for your understanding.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! There is a small parking lot on-site that holds about 35 cars. There is metered street parking along 4th ave and along Jackson St which do not charge after 9 pm. There are two paid street lots at Jackson St and 3rd ave, and Jackson St. and 1st Ave. Explore other nearby parking lots on the website here; copy and paste into your browser. https://www.bestparking.com/phoenix-parking/241-w-jackson-st/?venue_id=405125

Question

Is there transportation provided to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

We would be happy to assist in coordinating transportation to the ceremony, depending on your location. Please email mat@matsherman.com if you need help coordinating.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Close to 5:00pm will allow enough time for everyone to take their seats and the ceremony to begin promptly.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Cocktail attire is encouraged for the evening! Slip out of those WFH PJs (yes, we see you!) and put on that fancy dress or button-down hanging in the back of your closet. No need to purchase something new. Renting and secondhand purchases are highly recommended! Here is a good website for inspiration https://www.brides.com/cocktail-attire-wedding-4844364 Since our ceremony space has an open roof, we recommend bringing a sweater in case it is a chilly evening.

Question

Can I bring gifts to the wedding?

Answer

Absolutely! How could we say no to more gifts? There will be a gift table to collect any items you plan to bring the old-fashioned way!
