FAQs

A running list of FAQs and answers
Question

What about COVID?!?!

Answer

Our ceremony and cocktail hour will take place outside, weather permitting. The reception will take place in an open air tent. We are requiring all eligible guests to be vaccinated, boosted, and to perform a rapid test within 24 hours of our wedding. We'll have a bunch of extra rapid test kits on hand, so if you need one just let us know.

Question

How do I get to the Swedish museum from the hotel?

Answer

Fred is a school teacher and has booked a big yellow school bus to bring guests to/from the Loews Hotel and the Swedish museum. The shuttles will leave from Loews promptly at 4:45pm and 4:55pm (please bring a mask for the bus). If you prefer to drive, there is plenty of parking at the venue. Other good options include Lyft or the subway (Broad Street line to the NRG stop, then a 10-minute walk).

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Cocktail attire. Indian and Canadian garb welcome. Keep in mind it may be hot out (and the ceremony is on grass lawn)!

Question

Is there a gift registry?

Answer

Nope. We are fortunate to live in a happy home with all the things we need. The only gift we ask is for you to come celebrate with us in July! If you still have a burning desire to gift something - please see our donation page.

Question

Masuma's dad, Shabbir, is singing a song during our reception. What are the lyrics/what do they mean?

Answer

Here is a copy of Masuma's dad's song along with an English translation! Additionally, a copy can be found at each table on the back of the crossword. https://bit.ly/3AEWLqW
