Matron of Honor
My best and only sister - she's been my champion and role model since day 1. Growing up I wanted to be just like her. My mom even made me a matching cheer outfit and as a 7 year old I would cheer her on from the sidelines as she cheered. As we got older, our sisterhood and friendship only grew stronger. I still look up to her as my role model to this day even though I am taller.
Best Man
James (aka "my day 1") and I go way back like four flats on a Cadillac, first meeting in Kindergarten and have been best friends ever since. Growing up, we would have sleepovers, play videos games, and run wild outdoors. James has always been there when I've needed him most, and consider him as a 2nd brother. The best best man anyone could ask for.
Maid of Honor
Michelle and I originally met in college bonding over being dancers in high school, being from the Memphis area, and commiserating being APR majors. One strategy session over margaritas I believe was the start of a lifelong friendship. Our friendship only strengthened when I moved to Nashville in 2016 - where we indulged in many concerts, overpriced cocktails followed by dirty dive bars, and late-night Cook-Out. The keeper of my secrets - sometimes we are the blind leading the blind when it comes to our crazy.
Groomsman
Jacob is my only sibling, and one of the most caring guys I know. Growing up, we had the typical older/younger brother relationship; throwing football in the yard, playing pranks, and sharing fond memories together. As we've grown older, our relationship has strengthened--rather it be bass fishing together or me whooping him in a round of golf.
Bridesmaid
Austin Paige and I met in college off in a corner of a fraternity where we were probably the only girls drinking bourbon. Within minutes (or hours) realized we were meant to be best friends. Immediately inseparable and eventually lived together our Senior year where we had an unhealthy amount of candy and late night talks about Jeff Irwin, trash TV, and the difference between snakes and vipers (idk she's the biology major). Austin always has had my back and continues to teach me new things.
Groomsman
Ronnie and I first met right before college, and eventually ended up rooming together for several years at MTSU. Ronnie instantly became one of my closest friends and confidantes. We share our love of beer, shit talking, UT football, and shit talking about UT football. Name another man that loves Miller High Life more...I'll wait.
Bridesmaid
Allison and I met each other through our friend Alexandra (thank you Alexandra for bringing all these people together). I'm not sure what brought us together first her Bring It On re-enactments or late-night dance parties. It was probably something more than just that - she's an amazing person and even more amazing friend. Get you a friend like Allison that knows your angles and appreciates your niche obsessions.
Groomsman
Minh and I first met in middle school where we would play basketball/football in the streets. We eventually roomed together at MTSU and even started our own blog and t-shirt company together. If we weren't at the rec center, we were playing COD, or "choppin". Minh is one of the most creative dudes I know and we still have a strong relationship to this day. Name another dude that loves Totino's frozen pizza more...I'll wait.
Bridesmaid
Brittany and I met through Alexandra - immediately knew she was my kind of person when we went to a fan pop-up of Gilmore Girls’ Luke's diner. A fierce friend with a big heart that always shoots me straight on advice and gives a caring word. She's my cheeta sista that's always down for a Costco and Starbucks run to reset all our troubles.
Groomsman
Jon aka "Jevans" and I met in college, where we bonded over intramural sports and getting wild at house parties. Jon is a dear friend that's not afraid to shoot you straight. These days you can catch us tailgating at Titans games, sippin some bourbon, or trying to perfect our barbequing techniques.
Bridesmaid
Alexandra and I originally met in college through some of my sophomore-year roommates (tbt to the White House parties). It wasn't until I moved to Nashville where we were reunited on gameday at Dawghouse. From there it was history! Immediately close friends and brought me into the best and most loving group of girls. Alexandra without a doubt can whip up a cheese board and can really bring a party together at a drop of a hat - which is obviously why I love her. I am so lucky to have such a caring friend that always has kind word and an open mind.
Groomsman
Cuong and I met when I was in middle school, but really grew our friendship throughout college. I used to share a 10x10 (maybe smaller) room with him where I slept on a janky futon bed, so yea, we're pretty close. From beer pong in college to now hitting the golf links together, Cuong has always been the life of the party and someone whose personality demands respect.
Bridesmaid
Kate and I met because she was in the cool girl sitting in the cube behind me at my first job in Nashville. We immediately hit it off and quickly became friends outside of work over exchanging weekend stories, paddle boarding, and cold beers. She's an amazing true blue friend that is always down for a day of outdoor adventures and days on the river. I so value our girl power activities and how we lift each other up from career advice to home projects.
Groomsman
Gaines, my future brother-in-law, is one of the most thoughtful and sincere people I know. We always have a great time together, rather it be hunting or acting a fool on the lake. He's always down for a beerstick chug and a good time. I'm very happy to call him "brother".
