Beavertail is a state park about 45 minutes south of Providence and sits at the mouth of Narragansett Bay. Nearby Jamestown is also quite idyllic.
Newport has a ton of things to do! Whether you are interested in shopping, getting a lobster roll, or pretending you are a gilded age billionaire looking at one of the many historic mansions, there's no shortage of options. This is also close to Beavertail if you want to knock both of these out while you are here.
