Wedding Party

We are so blessed to have so many wonderful close friends that we get to include on this special day!

Dani

Maid of Honor

“Dani is my little sister and my first bff. Growing up, we shared the same experiences and memories. We played the same video games, watched the same shows, ate the same cereal, and looked the same half the time too! From childhood, to high school, to adulthood, Dani has grown into such a wonderful person and friend. She’s played such a big role in my life and even through our differences and cat fights, she has shown up for me. We have tons of memories that are incomparable to others, and she knows me better than anyone. If you ever play us in Taboo or Catch Phrase, we'll smoke you every time because we have an inside joke or a shared memory for just about everything. With that said, I’m so excited to have her join my right hand side as I marry the man of my dreams. There’s no one else I’d rather have as my Maid of Honor. I love my Piglet!” -S

Aaron

Best Man

"Aaron has been more than just a friend to me for the past 22 years; he’s been a brother in every sense of the word. Over the years, he’s consistently shown up when it matters most, offering his time and energy whenever I’ve needed help—whether it’s moving boxes, loading up a truck, or hauling everything from houses to garages to sheds. No matter the task, Aaron never hesitates to lend a hand, and his willingness to be there for me, no questions asked, is something I deeply value. Some of my favorite memories growing up with Aaron are the countless hours we spent in the backyard, kicking the crap out of each other during our soccer games, laughing and pushing each other to be better. He’s been my constant, my go-to, and I couldn’t imagine this day without him as my Best Man." -G

Elysabeth

Bridesmaid

“I’ve known Elysabeth since the 1st grade and we have been doing life together ever since. Sleepovers, Vacation Bible Schools, carpooling home with moms, birthday parties, high school lunches and assemblies, New Year's and Christmases, graduations, and now weddings! She has been so loyal, so supportive, so reliable, and so fun - she just keeps on getting better! Any event that has happened in my life, Elysabeth has been there for. She has never left my side, even in upsetting or difficult situations... It’s been such a crazy ride but she has stuck with me every moment. It’s beautiful having this girl as my best friend. I’m so excited she will stand on my side in my wedding just like I stood in hers. We’ve been supporting each other for almost 20 years, and we’ll continue to for the next 80! I could not imagine a life without her.” - S

Ethan

Groomsman

"Ethan and I have shared a friendship for 10 years now. He’s the one person I can count on to nerd out about soccer for hours, dissecting every match and every play like it’s our own personal analysis. Some of my favorite moments from our college days are from all the soccer trips we took together - from shenanigans on the bus, to all the places we visited and food we ate. Whether we are celebrating a win or just enjoying each other’s company, Ethan is always ready for the next adventure. He’s the kind of guy who’s always down to celebrate, and that’s why having him as a groomsman feels so natural." -G

Kristi

Bridesmaid

“Kristi and I first met in the 6th grade, and we were in the same small circle of friends all throughout middle and high school - but college was when our friendship really deepened and she became one of the best friends I’ve ever had. Kristi supported me in ways no one else could through my struggles throughout college and she never backed down. She held me accountable, showed me love, hung out with me in the mountains, saved me a seat in class, and always checked up on me to make sure I was staying afloat. We have been inseparable since college and I would not have it any other way - she has been there through deaths, breakups, job changes, and every celebration in my life - no matter how small. I am eternally grateful for the friendship she has given me all these years, and could never imagine getting married without her being right next to me.” - S

Shawqi

Groomsman

"I’ve known Shawqi since our freshman year of college, and after nearly 10 years of friendship, I can honestly say he’s been one of the most reliable people in my life. No matter the circumstance—good or bad—he’s always been there for me, offering a listening ear and thoughtful advice. One of my favorite memories with him is when we spent our 21st birthdays together. We kept our parties low-key, but we both made sure to be there for each other, and were involved in making each others birthdays special. Shawqi is a groomsman because I trust him completely; he’s someone who has never stopped putting effort into our friendship, no matter how many miles separate us." -G

Holly

Bridesmaid

“I met Holly in the summer of 2021 when Gordon first brought me home to meet his family. I remember pulling up in the driveway and seeing his dad, Mike, and Holly standing on the gravel, both grinning. Holly is a hugger and she greeted me warmly with a big smile and compliments. It was a very comforting and welcoming introduction and ever since that day, Holly has treated me like family. Her creative and artistic personality made it very easy for us to make a connection, and it’s been so fun getting to know her better over the years. Together, we have gone on double dates, driven to art shows, celebrated Christmases, and attended family reunions. It’s always so fun sitting in the living room giggling with her about… literally anything! From exciting car rides to pick up her new puppy, to Mike’s celebration of life, we have already been through so much together and I am so honored that I will be able to call her my sister when I marry Gordon.” - S

Cage

Groomsman

"I’ve only known Sam’s little brother Cage for four years, and am very excited I will be able to call him family soon. Cage is always excited to see me, and his enthusiasm makes every moment we share together fun and entertaining. One of my favorite memories with him is when the three of us went to Topgolf—just hanging out. It was such a great time, and it was fun to connect with him outside of the usual family gatherings. Cage was also a huge part of the proposal—helping set up the site and organizing everything before Sam and I arrived. I wanted him to be involved in his sister's wedding so he could show up in one of the most important days of her life, so it was easy asking him to be a groomsman." -G

Emily

Bridesmaid

“Gordon waited about four months before introducing me to any of his friends. The day I met them, I got out of the car and Emily charged, stopping right in front of me, and said, ‘Can I call you Mantha? I love you already.’ That’s basically been a synopsis of our whole friendship. Emily hypes me up, supports me and listens to my venting sessions, and even took me to the jeweler to encourage me to look at ring styles before going with Gordon when he bought it for me. She is thoughtful, happy, entertaining, and devoted. We have grown so close over the last couple years and I am so excited to not only have her support Gordon in his wedding, but also support me in mine. She may have been his friend first, but I love her more!” - S

Dillon

Groomsman

"I’ve had the privilege of knowing Dillon for six years now, and in that time, he’s proven to be one of the most reliable and dependable people in my life. He’s always been someone who goes out of his way to make me feel welcome, no matter the situation, and I’m grateful for how he includes me in everything. One of my favorite memories with him is spending his birthday at his house, playing yard games like kickball and laughing until our stomachs hurt. With all the ways he’s been there for me, it only felt right to have him standing by my side as a groomsman, and I couldn’t be more excited to have him there on this unforgettable day." -G

Katryn

Bridesmaid

“Kat and Gordon have been friends for several years - Gordon had planned on waiting a while before introducing me to his friends but one day, I went out to eat with him and there she was - waving at us. She was warm and inviting from the start. Ever since, she constantly includes me and makes an effort, she is always inviting me to come hang out, and through the years we have formed a really wonderful friendship. She and Emily were super involved and supportive when Gordon was planning on proposing, taking me ring-browsing, and going with Gordon to buy one for me. I am super grateful that we’ve gotten close, and I was beyond excited to ask her to stand on my side so she could show up for Gordon in this milestone of his, but also be there with me.” - S

DJ

Groomsman

"I’ve known DJ for five years now, and in that time, he’s proven to be one of the most genuinely supportive and enthusiastic people I’ve ever met. Whether it’s celebrating my achievements, big or small, or cheering on everyone around him, he’s always the first to show his excitement. His energy is contagious, and he’s truly the biggest hype-man in our lives, always lifting others up with his positivity. One of the highlights of our friendship is playing Mario Kart together—where the fierce competition and constant laughter make it impossible not to have a good time. DJ has been an incredibly loyal friend to both me and Sam, so we didn't hesitate to ask him to be front and center on our wedding day." -G

Holly

Bridesmaid

"Every summer, my family and I would go out to Phoenix, AZ to visit Mom's side of the family and for several years, we would stay for an entire month. This allowed me to still remain close to all my cousins - especially Holly and Lexi, who are twins and only a month-ish older than I am. We had lots of Arizona summers together and they even came to Tennessee with Grandma once. We had so many fun memories from our childhood - roller skating, movies, and pool parties. Of course as we got older, life got busy, but Holly and I stayed in touch and made a point to talk to each other every day. We grew up together, even if it was from miles apart. Holly and I still talk every day, just chatting about life and asking how the day is going, so asking her to be a part of my wedding was a very easy decision!" - S

Sam

Groomsman

"Sam has been a constant in my life for the past ten years, always showing genuine interest in what’s happening in my world and being someone I know I can rely on. From our college days as roommates to unforgettable adventures, he has been there through it all. Some of my favorite memories are from our road trip out west. We went to 4 different states, camping out of the truck and hanging out for days on end. Sam’s support and friendship through the years have been so valuable, so it was an easy decision to have him by my side for our wedding." -G

Lexi

Bridesmaid

"Just like Holly, I was only able to see Lexi once a year when we were growing up. Even if it was an entire month that we were out there, it never felt like enough time after waiting 11 months to hang out. As long as I can remember, we were always doing crafts at the table with Grandma, playing in the backyard until sunset, or constantly listening to VBS songs and dancing. At our annual sleepovers, we would do each other's makeup or swim in the pool for hours with all their dogs, we'd play Wii games on the couch, and stay up late into the night talking about everything. They were always my home away from home. Even though the years brought job changes and time consuming life updates, I am so happy Lexi and I have still managed to call and talk or send videos back and forth to share little moments with each other. When I called to ask if she wanted to be a bridesmaid, she didn't even let me finish my sentence before giving a very solid YES." - S

Will

Groomsman

"Will has always been more than just a cousin—he’s been a constant source of support and encouragement throughout my life. From our childhood days kicking a soccer ball down the hallway and across the backyard, to him showing up for my games and visiting whenever he was in town... Will has always been there. His genuine interest in my life and unwavering support have made him a key figure, not just in my family but in my journey as a person. He’s one of the reasons my passion for soccer has stayed strong, always keeping that connection alive. I’m honored to have him by my side on this special day, not just as my cousin but as a friend." -G
