Best Man
Friendship began: In the womb. A lifetime full of jokes, basketball, and strong support has sprouted from Gage and I's relationship. He's never failed to make me laugh and realize how great God is in a single interaction with him. He's taught me how to follow Jesus seriously, while also making life one fun party.
Maid of Honor
Friendship began: During my sophomore year at MSUB Overflowing with joy, energy, and passion, Laura is sunshine personified. From the moment we first met as we both searched for the parking garage, I knew we were destined for a lifetime of friendship. The last 2 1/2 years have since been filled with shared experiences of every kind. Laura has taught me what it means to express the radiance of the Lord, as well as what it means to love others fiercely and selflessly.
Groomsman
Friendship began: In middle school. Full of fantastic music, style, and chill vibes, Jack has never made our friendship dull or boring. From making bottle flipping videos together, to competing to make the ugliest Christmas cookie, Jack and I have had a lot of weird and fun adventures. He's taught me how to appreciate the small things in life, and really cherish the friends and family that I have.
Bridesmaid
Friendship began: 2000, when we were both in diapers. Spunky, sparkly, and full of life, Emily, aka Sugarlips, is truly one of the funniest people I have ever met. While I love her quick-wittedness, what I love even more about her humor is that it is inclusive of everyone. I have had the privilege of watching her use her gift of comedy to create community and love others well. From creating our own iCousins vlog to taking on freshman year at UW, Emily has shown me that no time is a bad time to laugh.
Groomsman
Friendship began: At the first "hello." Hard-working, determined, and hilarious are traits that make Eli one of the most amazing people I know. Being Mychal's older brother, he has always treated me with respect and kindness. He works hard at everything he does, and has been a great living example of Colossians 3:23. He has taught me that weird is a good thing, and how to use a competitive spirit to better love and serve those around me.
Bridesmaid
Friendship began: When I was so blessed as to have her become my sister-in-law! Lauren is a beautiful combination of intelligence, introspection, warmth, and courage. We may not be family by blood, but I could not have hand-picked a more incredible sister! I continuously find myself inspired by her adventurous nature and willingness to work at all things with both devotion and determination.
Groomsman
Friendship began: Elementary school (thought he was kind of weird) / Middle school (found out he's awesome). I have been breathless, brought to endlessly flowing tears, and have had abdominal pains all my life due to this man. His humor and charming weirdness are unmatched in this world, and he can make me die laughing from just looking at me. We've made teachers quite furious and have made MANY people feel awkward by our inside jokes, but we've also bonded like brothers throughout the years. Zach has taught me how to please God rather than people and how to make light of even the darkest things we go through in life.
Bridesmaid
Friendship began: August 2021, when we found ourselves living under the same roof. Savannah displays generosity unlike anyone I have ever met. She has an extraordinary way of knowing just what someone needs and when they need it, and gives in the most selfless of ways. I have learned more about the art of making others feel truly heard and cared for through Savannah's example. Of all the gifts she offers, her presence is the best of all!
Groomsman
Friendship began: During my freshman year at MSUB. Happy, sincere, faithful, and corny are words that describe one of my closest brothers in Christ. Charlie (aka Chuck) has become my most recent friend in life and I feel beyond blessed to have spent the past year living with him in our apartment. He has constantly inspired me to be a better Christian, man, and friend by being a prime example of all three himself. Chuck has taught me how to love and give grace to everyone while having a good time doing so.
Bridesmaid
Friendship began: During my sophomore year at MSUB. Joelle is loving, encouraging, and always ready for a good time! In the amount of time we have known each other, I have watched her weave her authentic self into every scenario as her welcoming personality creates community with people from all crowds. Joelle has taught me what it looks like to pursue meaningful relationships with others.
Groomsman
Friendship began: Elementary school. Tate is like a diamond among millions of boring similar sedimentary rocks. He's unique, but also a really stable and strong friend. From running our school's student council together, to inventing random things at his house, Tate has always brought unique creativity and fun into everything we've done together. He has taught me the status quo isn't always best, and to never please man but rather please God and God alone.
Bridesmaid
Friendship began: 5th grade Bible study Emerald and I's friendship really clicked when I was the only one among a crowd of 7th grade girls that understood her reference to a very obscure scene in a very obscure movie. From the weirdness that was junior high to living in different states, it has been an honor over the years to grow and change beside this talented, sacrificial, brave, and loving individual!
Groomsman
Friendship began: In Kindergarten, but feels like we're weirdly related and have been friends even longer... I have probably spent the majority of my childhood with Marshall. Every summer, weekend, morning before school, and almost every class from elementary school till high school has involved both Marshall and I together. His calm and cool presence always balanced out my rash and intense self. Marshall has always been one of my closest friends, and he has remained a steadfast bro through thick and thin. Through our friendship, he has taught me to love reading, to value family, and that consistency is more important than temporary intensity when following Christ.
Bridesmaid
Friendship began: Summer 2016 (the same time Mason and I's relationship began)! Creative, thoughtful, and expressive are just some of the qualities that encompass Brenna. From the very start of the Mason and Mychal saga, Brenna has welcomed me into the family with tenderness and consideration. It has been an honor to learn from and observe her extending that same compassion toward others. I couldn't be more excited to officially call her sister!
Groomsman
Friendship began: The moment I laid eyes on him on the TBHS football field in high school. Kindness, gentleness, and true joy are what I think of when I think of my man Brendan (aka Bubba). He is one of the kindest souls I know, and I've never once been mad at this charming young lad. After living together for a brief moment of time, Bubba felt almost like another brother to me. Bubba has taught me that no matter the situation you're in or have come from, you can always choose to do what's right and honor God.
Bridesmaid
Friendship began: As early as I can remember! When I think of Abby, what first comes to mind is her stunning example of servitude and obedience in following the Lord's calling. She has been my biggest role model from the start and has filled that role with such kindness, patience, and joy. The moments we have shared throughout life are memories that I will forever hold closest to my heart.
Ecclesiastes 4:9-10
"Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their toil. For if they fall, one will lift up his fellow. But woe to him who is alone when he falls and has not another to lift him up!"
Bridesmaid
Friendship began: During my sophomore year at MSUB. Ellie lives with boldness, joy, and a profound tenderness towards others. As one of the first people I met in Billings, she received me with open arms and has since been one of the greatest friends one could hope to walk through life with! I am consistently encouraged by her love for the Lord and amazed at the many giftings she has and how she uses them to serve!
