His Perspective: Mason, best friends with Mychal's brother, Jackson, first laid eyes on Mychal after a classic hangout at the Voigt household. All he got was a glimpse of her walking into the house with her friend. Mason instantly knew she was way out of his league, but the pure captivation she bestowed upon him motivated Mason to pursue her with great intensity. Her Perspective: Mychal's first, true interaction with Mason was when he asked her to sign his yearbook on the last day of junior high. She wrote (awkwardly): "You're the coolest person I know."
