Ashlynn was my saving grace, going into high school at a new school was terrifying but after meeting Ashlynn through other friends, we became inseparable. From morning Starbucks runs, pretending to be step sisters so I could ride her bus every day for three months due to not living in the school district, to pretending to be an Avary so her dad could sign the consent form for me to fly in the little plane over Cypress, Tx. All the memories crammed into one month of summer before I moved to Georgia, then all the trips I made to Houston to see her and then her flying to Georgia to come visit me over the summer, even the time I drove 12 hours from Valdosta, GA to Cypress, TX to surprise Ashylnn on her Birthday. We stayed in touch over the years and no matter how long we went without talking, because life, it was like no time had passed. We have grown together over the years and seen each other accomplish so much in life. Now, 12 years after becoming best friends, I am honored to have Ashlynn stand by me as my maid of honor.

From the T-ball field to the alter! Meeting Leah and Zach (her little boy) when I coached t-ball was a blessing. Leah and I clicked right away, sharing a love for teaching and so much more has allowed a bond to build that is uniquely ours.
