We're getting married! The count down until we say 'I do' is on!

As high schoolers we never once thought we would ever cross paths outside of our Junior math class. Kahli was the quite one in the mix and Mason was the one whos smile and laughter stood out among all. "I remember thinking 'oh he's cute, but I would never get his attention' I even sat near him for a little while but that was mostly because it was very clear that he was one of the smart ones in the class" - Kahli After high school graduation Kahli went off to college and Mason joined the Army National Guard. In November 2019, Mason reached out to Kahli on Instagram offering a listening ear and a friendship based on Kahli being so open about her struggles with depression. After that the two talked daily for hours on Facetime every night. In March of 2020 Kahli realized she was in love with Mason but had no idea how to tell him. On the other hand Mason was not ready for that, being in California for DLI training, a relationship was not on his mind. Kahli decided she would either help him fall in love with her or aim to find a man exactly like him because Mason Rowland checked all the boxes. In July of 2020 Mason came home from California and the two met up for the first time in person since seeing each other in High School. The two chose to make a day trip to Hilton Head, SC. Masons radio broke on the way to Statesboro to pick Kahli up but that was okay, Kahli talks enough to fill the silence on the 2 hour drive.. It was a great day filled with laughter, finding over 20 sand dollars, Kahli taking a good bit with her then realizing on the way back home that it is illegal in Hilton Head to remove the sand dollars from their habitat.. oops.. now we were partners in crime! During this beach adventure we shared a kiss, this was Masons first indication that he liked Kahli. After this beach trip Mason went to the University of North Georgia, the distance and us trying to figure out what we wanted to be was hard and Kahli had to step away from the friendship.. Until October of 2020, Kahli got a handwritten letter from Mason apologizing for the heart ache he caused and admitting he missed his bestfriend, asking if Kahli would facetime him when she got the letter. Can you guess what Kahli did? Yes.. she called and the two picked up were they left off, facetiming all the time and Kahli introduced Mason to her new puppy, Leo. Mason then decided he absolutely had to come see the new puppy and from then on, every weekend Mason made the trip from Dahlonega to Statesboro to see Kahli and Leo (Storm was not a fan of Leo or Mason at first) After months of coming to visit, Kahli cooking for Mason and endless laughs and dog park visits, on December 12, 2020 Mason told Kahli he loves her and asked if she would be his girlfriend. Kahli of course said yes and now after 4 years (will be 5 years on our wedding day) we are each marrying our best friend.
