I’m Jennifer, Heather’s younger sister. I’ve known since the day I was born that we would be inseparable. We did everything together and shared everything including our bedroom, some clothing, education, and even an apartment. We’ve shared a lot of special, difficult, happy, sad, and challenging times together. Heather is genuinely one of the sweetest and caring people I know and I will always have a caring and comforting person in my life. She is not only my sister but one of my best friends.

I am Craig Peterman and have been married to Holly since 2014 and have a spunky little boy named Nolan who keeps us on our toes. I am a teacher, and coach at Rockford. I love to do outdoor activities and love our pooch Rosie. The way that I got to know Mason was through water Polo. I got to know Mason when he was a baby in high school, and I was coaching for Rockford. I got to have the privilege to coach him during our summer water polo league. Down the road I got the privilege to have Mason begin coaching with me at Rockford. Mason and I have formed a brotherly bond and have become great friends like stepbrothers. I look forward to the many more adventures we will have down the road.

I am Rebecca, Heather's big sister! We met in the hospital when she was born. We are different but I am very lucky to have her as my "little" sister. She approaches life in a way I don’t quite understand, but she’s doing an excellent job! She’s taught me that you just need to find your unique way of doing things! In life she’s often misunderstood and she deals with it with grace and intelligence. When she started dating Mason, I saw the same thing with him. They are definitely cut from the same cloth and understand each other! They say "don't mess with my sister because there's always a crazier sister behind her!". Heather’s lucky to have 5 such sisters because she is hands down the sweetest!

I’m Ian, Heather’s older brother. We grew up together and were very close in our big family. I’ll never forget the time she shot me in the head with a BB gun. We were in marching band, performing arts, and went to Florida together for teen missions. I’ve always felt like I needed to watch out for her so now that she has Mason I am very excited for her future with him. He is an awesome guy and perfect for her and I wish them all the happiness in the world.

Dear Heather, I remember the first day we met. You were crying I remember seeing your face and I felt so bad you seemed so sweet and gentle. After that night I felt the need to be by your side it was God ordained. When we were working together on cleaning crew you would always sing. This was one of my favorite things about you because I would always ask you to sing for me when I was sad. We would share life stories hurts and happiness we became sisters from the heart. Heather you love so deeply, they way you talked about family and your patience and kindness to me. When you left I felt heartache but knew you were off to love your family and do bigger and better things. I love you so much big little sis. And I wish you and your new husband the best.

It was my first day at Access on June 6th, 2019. I walk into ResLife Church not knowing anybody there. As I enter, there are several greeters who start to introduce me to some people. One person lead to another and eventually I met Mason. My first impression was that he was this super country guy who loved the Lord and guns. So I knew we would get along just fine. Not too long after we met, we started to develop a friendship that eventually lead into a brotherhood. Today, I am so blessed to call Mason a brother of mine and be a part of the best day of his life!! Love you bro!!

My name is Alissa Ford and I met Heather in the Homeschool band program. We played the flute together for a while, but my favorite memories are from singing alto together in the girls choir. We shared a lot of laughter and conversation together sitting in the back row. Over the years we have gone different paths but whenever we meet up for lunch or coffee we pick up right where we left off as if no time has passed. Heather has always been one of the sweetest people I’ve known and I enjoy our conversations and laughter whether it is over coffee or a chilly walk in the park. After over a decade of conversations about boys and marriage I am so excited to be a part of your special day and witness your dreams come true.

I love Mason and her hearts for the Lord , I am excited for them to embark on this new journey!

How I met Heather and Mason was I first met Heather at a Banner United, church group pool party where she told me stories about her childhood. I really got to know her was that following Sunday we discussed relationships and dating. I met Mason a few years later, she brought Mason to a Banner United bible study. After the bible study, I talked with Mason out in the snow covered street. I could tell he was just the man for her as he opened the door for her. I can tell that Heather and Mason are are just the cutest and perfect for each other I pray God blesses their marriage.

I’m Jake Vickery, I first met mason after someone thought it was a good idea to let a Jenison kid play polo with a bunch of Rockford guys. Mason quickly became part of the family, he would show up at our team events even after the summer was over. More recently, Mason and I have been coaching together at Rockford. I couldn’t imagine the last season if he wasn’t there for me to mess around with. I’m proud to say that from day one Mason has been like a brother to me and many more.

I met Heather at a swing dancing event downtown Grand Rapids, and she is the reason I met my now husband. Ian and I met because he came downtown to visit Heather, and we were introduced through her. When I need a shoulder to cry on or a happy face to cheer me up I know who I can call.
