Fly Fish on the Big Wood River

This is Donald's favorite local fishing hole! Get a permit, flies and a rod at Lost River Outfitters or Silver Creek Outfitters in town and head to Box Car Bend for solitude on the river. Bigwood Golf Course

Grab your friends for a round of golf! Make a reservation in advance and enjoy a cold beer on the deck at the Big Wood Grill aftewards.

Taylor Canyon Hike

This is Lindsey's favorite hike! At this time of year there are still wildflowers and a beautiful, lush, green canyon. 4.4 mile loop.

Proctor Loop Hike

Quick 1 hour hike right in town!

Mt. Baldy Hike

Visit Sun Valley Ski Resort and hike Baldy (at the base of the River Run Lodge)! If you make it to Roundhouse, stop in for lunch and great views.

Norton Lakes Hike

Great 4.5 mile lake hike.
