What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive by 5:00 pm as our ceremony begins at 5:30 pm!

What is the parking situation?

Answer

Parking is FREE at the visitor center! Park anywhere. If the lot is full, there are additional parking lots in the park that are within walking distance to the visitor center.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Nope! Dress comfortably as we are planning an outdoor ceremony. High heels are not recommended!

What will you be serving for dinner at the reception?

Answer

BBQ! We will have pulled pork sandwiches, roasted chicken & potatoes, mac and cheese, seasonal roasted vegetables, & a garden salad

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We have a block of rooms reserved at Tru by Hilton in Albany by Crossgates Mall, a 22 minute drive from Thacher Park! Please book by August 21 to get our wedding rate. There are also many other hotel options in the Albany/Troy area.

Will there be a shuttle to the wedding?

Answer

Unfortunately no. Uber or Lyft will be your best bet!
