Yes; unless it happens to rain in Houston in May, in which case, no.
The reception will be in the courtyard at Oakwind under the canopy of a big oak tree. A cool breeze blows under the branches. The main house at Oakwind has a nice, indoor sitting area as well. In case of rain, the reception will be moved in its entirety to the barn, which has been outfitted with a bar and dance floor. The grounds at Oakwind are covered with grass lawns and pea-gravel paths.
"Guest" is for a plus-one if desired. If not, simply put "No name" as the name of the guest and say not attending.
If it is your first time attending a Catholic Mass, welcome! We will have a program with all of the songs and readings so that you can join in prayer and singing. Simply follow along for all of the standing and kneeling. When it comes time for Holy Communion, we ask that you refrain from receiving the Eucharist if you are not Catholic and do not share our beliefs; instead, please feel free to receive a special blessing by crossing your arms over your chest.
