A fun Brooklyn-based brewery known for their unique brews and pretty views -- one of the largest breweries in the finger lakes region. Located exactly halfway between ceremony and reception locations -- could be a fun stop ;)
Pittsford Farms Dairy
After Mary Cannon closed her ice cream store, this became *the best* ice cream in Upstate New York. Highly recommend for anyone who enjoys a sweet treat and experience ;) Located about a 15 min walk or 3 min drive from the ceremony location.
Canandaigua Sailboard
A lakeside rental shack with paddleboard and kayak rentals for anyone interested in enjoying an afternoon out on the water. Located on the North side of Canandaigua Lake, about a 3 minute drive from Hotel Canandaigua.

Schoen Place is one of the most popular spots to stroll the Erie Canal in Rochester. With many dining spots, Ice Cream, Lock 32 Brewery and shops, it’s a go-to walk on a summer’s day. This spot also often hosts free summer concerts and is a great spot to feed the ducks.

Rose Tavern / The Sand Bar
The Rose Tavern and The Sand Bar are two restaurants located at The Lake House, an upscale resort on Canandaigua Lake. Both feature delicious local food, with the Sand Bar being a bit more casual than the Rose Tavern. The Sand Bar is located right on the water, but the Rose Tavern has beautiful views too. As Mike says, the Rose Tavern is an "Occasion Restaurant" :)
Sonnenberg Gardens & Mansion State Historic Park
Sonnenberg Gardens & Mansion State Historic Park is one of the nation's most extensively preserved country estates from the Victorian era. This 50 acre site features beautiful formal and informal gardens, a historic mansion, and beautiful views of Canandaigua Lake. Tours of both the gardens and the mansion are also available from May through September.
