Garden Party Attire goes well with our venue. It means we want you to be comfortable outdoors and wear something nicer than your everyday clothes, but not super formal. You could wear any length of dress, sundresses, floral prints, lighter suits. Jackets and ties are optional. No jeans or shorts. Much of the ground is grass so stilettos are not advised. When in doubt, think semi-formal. Ideally, the ceremony will be outside and the reception partially outside, so please dress according to the weather.
There will be a shuttle running between our venue and the Marriott. Space is limited so if you find that you need a cab, please call Uber/Lyft or the local cab companies. Please check out our Travel page for the shuttle schedule and more information.
The ceremony and reception will take place at the same venue, Gratitude & Grace, located at 235 Harvey Hill Road, Ithaca, NY.
We plan to email a link about a week out from our wedding date so it does not get lost in your inbox. You can also find the Zoom link under Schedule on our website.
We have reserved a hotel block at the Marriott Downtown Ithaca Commons. The link to book is located on the Travel page of our site. For families or groups that want to stay together, you could look into an AirBnB or VRBO home rental for the weekend. If you would like to be in the town of Ithaca, look for properties near downtown/The Commons. If you would like to stay on or near the lake, the base and west shore of Cayuga Lake are closer to the wedding venue.
We love your little ones but will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving your young children at home so you can celebrate with us.
We are registered with Amazon and The One Registry (Williams Sonoma, Pottery Barn, West Elm). Please check the Registry tab of our website for more details.
There is a free parking lot at the wedding venue. If needed, you can leave your car overnight Saturday and arrange to pick it up Sunday prior to 2pm. For parking information near the hotel and downtown, please check the Travel section of our website.
For a nice easy walk, take the short hike from Taughannock Falls State Park to the base of the falls. You can also rent kayaks and go swimming in Cayuga Lake at Taughannock Falls State Park. For a more strenuous hike, explore Buttermilk Falls State Park or Robert H. Treman State Park. A good hike is the Gorge Trail at Treman up to Lucifer Falls. There's also a popular swimming area (with a diving board and a lifeguard) at the base of the Lower Falls in Treman.
Yes, we can accommodate any (part-time and full-time) vegetarians, as well as nut- and gluten- free diets. Please note any dietary restrictions when you send your RSVP card.
We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation envelope. If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you.
