Richmond is about an hour away from Charlottesville and is another great option for flights. You can easily rent a car at the airport and enjoy the beauty of central VA!

If you are looking to extend your stay in the region, Washington D.C. is about 3 hours away. We recommend flying into Dulles (IAD) or Reagan (DCA).
