Things To Do

Pitt Street Bridge

Pitt Street Bridge

972 Pitt Street, Mount Pleasant, SC 29464

Beau and Mary Logan went here on the night they met in 2018. After being picked up from Chad and Nila's house, Beau loaded Mary Logan, Molly, and Hannah up in a friend's car for a visit to this iconic Charleston spot. In what can only be described as an "ill-advised attempt to impress," Beau lost a round of "what are the odds" to Mary Logan and fully committed... by jumping straight into the freezing cold water. Safe to say, it made an impression. Whether for the sunset views, a peaceful walk, or just to see the scene of the questionable decision, it's definitely worth a visit.

The Battery

The Battery

Charleston, SC 29401

About a 15 minute walk from our venue, and steeped in history, The Battery promenade once served as a defensive seawall during the Civil War and is surrounded by some of Charleston's most storied and beautifully preserved homes. Today it's one of Charleston most iconic landmarks, where you can take in the views, spot historic forts in the distance, and walk past centuries of Southern history.

Old City Jail

Old City Jail

21 Magazine Street, Charleston, SC 29401

Looking for something spooky to do? Check out The Old City Jail. Built in 1802 and operational until 1939, it's earned a reputation as one of the most haunted places in the city. You can tour the jail and hear stories of its' past, but fair warning... the bride is convinced it's the real deal. She swears she was scratched by a ghost during a visit, so enter at your own risk. Whether you're a skeptic or a believer, it's definitely a memorable (and chilling) stop while you're in town.

USS Yorktown CV-10

USS Yorktown CV-10

40 Patriots Point Road, Mount Pleasant, SC 29464

A Charleston classic. Fun fact, Mary Logan went on a field trip here in sixth grade, and spent 3 nights aboard sleeping in the Junior Officers cabin. The USS Yorktown CV-10 was a U.S. Navy aircraft carrier that served in World War II, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War, earning 11 battle stars in WWII and 5 in Vietnam. Nicknamed "The Fighting Lady," she's definitely worth a visit if you have an afternoon free.
