FAQs

The Wedding Website of Mary Logan Grier and Beau Singer
Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes! We are requesting "Western Black-Tie Optional." We'd love to see everyone dressed up with a little western flair! Ladies, we encourage you to opt for floor length gowns, or elegant mid-length dresses. To incorporate a western touch, feel free to swap heels for boots, add a concho belt, or top it off with an elevated western hat. Please avoid white, cream, and similar shades (the bride is very excited to have her moment). Gentlemen, tuxedos are encouraged but not required. A dark suit and tie is perfectly appropriate. If you'd like to lean into the theme, consider pairing your look with nice boots and a dark cowboy hat. Please avoid white, cream, and similar shades. If you want some inspiration, check out the "Attire Inspo" tab! Still not sure? Feel free to text Katie or Mary Logan to double check.

Question

Can I take photos and videos?

Answer

We are having an "unplugged" ceremony. This means we are asking that all phones and cameras are put away and turned to silent/off during the ceremony so that our guests can me 100% present with us. We are hiring a professional photographer and videographer to capture some of the most important moments of our lives and we'd hate to have someone's phone or camera blocking that moment. After the ceremony, please feel free to take as many photos and videos as you want, and share them with us! We promise to share our ceremony photos with you as soon as possible!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your guests name is listed on your invite or you have a "plus one" option listed when you RSVP, then yes. Otherwise, we would love to keep the wedding as intimate as possible with close friends and family.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony will begin promptly at 5:00 pm. We kindly ask that you plan to arrive no later than 4:30 pm to allow plenty of time to get settled and find your seat. If you happen to arrive after the ceremony has started, we ask that you do not enter our ceremony space. We promise we'll celebrate with you shortly after!

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Our venue doesn’t offer private parking, but several public garages are conveniently located close-by, including the East Bay Prioleau Garage, which charges a $5 flat rate after 5 p.m. The venue is fully accessible across all three levels, with elevators and wheelchair-friendly pathways throughout.

Question

What happens if I miss the RSVP deadline?

Answer

Bring a chair and a sandwich.
