Things To Do

The Wedding Website of MaryKathryn Braun and Brian Ramsey
We're so excited to share a few of our favorite places in the area with you!

Energy Station

2710 Shelly Road, Harleysville, PA 19438
, (215) 256-8866

Should be renamed the "Braun Family Restaurant" any day now. It is a favorite Sunday-brunch place which they serve all day as well as the lunch and dinner fare. The staff are too familiar with the large family spilling out of several cars ready to order their favorite breakfast entrees. In case you would like to venture out get "The Perkasie" it will not disappoint!

The Broad Street Grind

117 East Broad Street, Souderton, PA 18964
, (215) 723-8220

As you may know, ANYTHING coffee related is an instant favorite of Brian and MaryKathryn. This local coffee shop (minutes from the church) has artisanal coffee and teas as well as various pastries, deserts, and snacks.

Bishop Estate Vineyard and Winery

2730 Hilltown Pike, Perkasie, PA 18944
, (215) 249-3559

It is an open winery with tastings, flights, live music, and food trucks. A truly wonderful time to hang out with good friends and even better wine!

Philadelphia Museum of Art

2600 Benjamin Franklin Parkway, Philadelphia, PA 19130
, (215) 763-8100

This is a locale that holds great meaning for the couple. They are both passionate about the arts and spent many childhood hours wondering these halls marveling at Mary Cassatt, Van Gough, Degas, and of course their seemingly endless array of armor.

Philadelphia Zoo

3400 West Girard Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19104
, (215) 243-1100

The oldest zoo in America and one of the places Brian has taken MaryKathryn on many dates. The tiger walk is always a family favorite.

National Constitution Center

525 Arch Street, Philadelphia, PA 19106
, (215) 409-6700

Not only is this a center of national and Philadelphian pride, it is also the place Brian and MaryKathryn attended Brian's senior prom. It will always have special meaning to us for a multitude of reasons.

Independence Hall

520 Chestnut Street, Philadelphia, PA 19106
, (215) 965-2305

This needs no explanation. Just an incredible testament to our country's founding. Wonderful tour guides lead you back in time to some of America's most profound moments.

Liberty Bell

526 Market Street, Philadelphia, PA 19106
, (215) 965-2305

Simply put, it is worth the trip!

King of Prussia

160 North Gulph Road, King of Prussia, PA 19406
, (610) 265-5727

This is the third largest mall in the country. It features designer and department stores alike. On a Friday night you’ll see hundreds of people flock there for retail therapy, social events, and date nights. If you need anything at all this is the place to find it. It is a great place to check out while you’re in town!

Philadelphia Premium Outlets

18 W Lightcap Road, Pottstown, PA 19464
, (610) 495-9000

Every Black Friday morning, like clock work, the Braun ladies venture out into the darkness to commence their yearly rituals. Some brave souls, like Brian, may join them. However, it is not a task for the faint of heart. Lauren has a schedule and a plan both of which must be kept to (but not until they’ve had their coffee). These outlets are an outdoor experience that offers a variety of shopping opportunities.
