Mary Kate and Tripp went on their first date to the UGA vs Lousiana-Monroe game in Athens, GA on September 5, 2015. They remained friends until February 2, 2016, when Tripp officially asked Mary Kate to be his girlfriend. Following their graduation from Harrison High School in 2016, Tripp attended Vanderbilt University and Mary Kate attended the University of Georgia. The two had a long-distance relationship until Tripp graduated from Vanderbilt in December 2019 and Mary Kate graduated from Georgia in May 2020. After graduation, Mary Kate and Tripp moved to New York City, where they currently reside. In September 2023, Mary Kate and Tripp took a vacation to Exuma, Bahamas. On this trip, Tripp took Mary Kate to an intimate beachside dinner, where he asked Mary Kate to marry him. They both could not be more excited to spend forever together!
