Can I join the welcome party if I am arriving later than 6:30?

Answer

Yes, please! The welcome party will be a casual get together where we invite guests to mill about the restaurants and the living room of the Dorset Inn. Food will be served until 9:00, but the bar will remain open for guests who would like to keep the party going!

What will be served at the welcome party?

Answer

The welcome party will be pizza, salad, beer, and wine. Cocktails will be available for purchase at the bar.

Will there be parking at each location?

Answer

Yes, there is free parking at both inns, at the church, and at The Old Gray Barn.

How will I get from the ceremony to the reception?

Answer

We will provide bus transportation to and from Dorset Village (where the Dorset Inn, Barrow's House, and church are located). The buses will run throughout the reception.

Can I walk from my hotel to the church?

Answer

Yes, the Dorset Inn is a short 4 minute walk to the church, and the Barrow's House is a 7 minute walk.

Why didn't I select a meal on my response card?

Answer

Dinner will be served family style so our guests will be able to taste a variety of delicious foods!

What temperature should I dress for?

Answer

We would recommend guests dress warm and wear layers. The end of October can be quite chilly in Vermont, so let's get cozy!
