The dress code is formal. This means that you should wear the nicest clothing you have easy access to. If you do not have a tuxedo or a floor-length gown, a nice cocktail dress or suit would be acceptable. We also invite all guests to wear traditional Indian attire to celebrate the groom's family culture. More on that below.
All guests are included on your personal invitation. If you are uncertain if you received a plus one, please text Mary Jean (702) 244-0511
We love your children and want them to celebrate with us! Each guest (including children) should be included in your personal invitation. If they are not, please inquire with Mary Jean or Auro. Any children outside of immediate family or those included in the invitation we ask to stay at home.
We as a family invite those who are interested in celebrating the groom's culture to feel free to participate in wearing cultural clothing to our wedding celebration.
For women and girls, clothing would include an anarkali (one piece gown), lehenga ( 2 piece outfit) , saree (beautiful fabric that is draped over the body), or a traditional suit ( long tunic with leggings). For men a kurta or sherwani suit is appropriate cultural clothing for the event. A traditional Western suit is also appropriate. There are various Desi/Indian clothing stores that sell these items. There are a variety of shops in Los Angeles, the Bay Area, Dallas, NYC and New Jersey. You can also find some items on sale on Etsy ( be sure to look at reviews). Listed below are some links to purchase an outfit online if interested. https://www.cbazaar.com/ https://www.lashkaraa.com/ https://www.kalkifashion.com/
