You really can’t go wrong with wine tasting in Napa, but here are a few of our favorites. Chandon is perfect if you’re in the mood for sparkling wine and a gorgeous outdoor setting. Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars is a classic choice for bold Napa reds, and Castello di Amorosa is just plain fun-who doesn’t want to sip wine in a Tuscan-style castle? A few other spots we love: Beringer for its beautiful historic grounds, Round Pond for great wine and amazing olive oil tastings, and James Cole if you're looking for a smaller, more relaxed vibe with incredible wines. And definitely don’t miss Artesa, the views are unreal, and the sleek, modern space feels more like an art museum than a winery. And for any Parent Trap fans out there, Staglin Family Vineyard is a must.
For the early risers, this is an unforgettable way to see the vineyards from above.
Napa Valley is home to some of the best spas in California, perfect for unwinding during your visit. In Yountville, Spa Villagio and The Spa at Bardessono offer luxury treatments and tranquil settings just steps from town. For sweeping vineyard views and holistic experiences, head to Auberge du Soleil in Rutherford. Or, enjoy Calistoga’s famed mineral pools and mud baths at Solage Spa or Indian Springs Resort.
This charming walkable town is filled with art galleries, boutiques, tasting rooms, and picturesque spots for coffee or sweet treats.
Eating in Napa Valley isn’t just something to do, it’s a must. This region is as much about the food as it is the wine, and you're never far from an incredible meal. One spot we absolutely love is Charter Oak in St. Helena. It’s beautiful, rustic, and the food is driven by fresh, local ingredients. Their burger, in particular, is legendary. Bouchon Bistro offers classic French fare from Thomas Keller in a cozy, polished setting (and don’t skip the bakery next door for pastries and treats!). R+D Kitchen is a great option for something casual yet upscale, think sushi, salads, and craft cocktails in a stylish setting. Mustards Grill is a Napa institution, known for its elevated comfort food with a wine country twist. And for a laid-back meal that never disappoints, Gott’s Roadside is a must. It’s a local favorite for gourmet burgers, ahi tuna tacos, garlic fries, and milkshakes.
