It's about an 8 minute drive to the venue (roughly an $8-$12 uber). It's also within a 15 minute drive of: The Woodlands Mall, Old Town Spring, The Woodlands Waterway, The Woodlands Children's Museum, and City Place Plaza. This hotel offers a lakeside resort-style pool and room rate with our discount is approximately $129 per night.

Shuttle between hotel and venue

Shuttle service will run in a loop between Hotel Indigo and the venue starting at 4:00pm until shortly before the ceremony. The shuttle will also run between the venue back to the hotel starting at 10:00pm-11:30pm.

Flight

George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) & William P. Hobby Airport (HOU)

The closest airport to the venue is George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) — just 30 miles southeast of The Woodlands (about a 30-minute drive). IAH offers nonstop service to over 180 destinations and is served by 25 major airlines. William P. Hobby Airport (HOU) is another option, about 45 minutes from The Woodlands. It’s a smaller airport with service to 80 destinations, primarily served by Southwest Airlines — so if you’re flying Southwest, you’ll likely land here. Sometimes Ubers from the airports can be very expensive, so it's worth asking the taxi cab drivers their rates as they can be cheaper!

Getting Around

If you're staying near the venue in The Woodlands, Uber and Lyft are reliable for getting to and from the wedding and nearby attractions. Most hotels are within a short drive of the venue, and ride shares are easy to arrange. However, if you’re planning to explore downtown Houston or other areas beyond The Woodlands, we recommend renting a car for more flexibility and ease of travel — Houston traffic is real, but so is the sprawl.
