As they grew up, they grew even closer over the years, making time for each other every time they could while living hours apart. Monisha and Mary Elizabeth have been there for each other through every major event in their adult life and will always continue to be there for one another as they grow older and closer. Monisha is intelligent and level headed. She's often the first one Mary Elizabeth calls when she has a problem because she will always listen and give sound advice.

Brooke is Cody's baby sister. They are 7yrs apart so Cody grew up looking out for her and holds dear fond memories of when she was young, even naming his cat after young Brooke's attempts to read. Brooke was a cheer leader and an amazing gymnast in high school and is now attending IUPUC with an interest in marketing and business management. When Mary Elizabeth met Cody she immediately recognized the bond he had with his sister so when the time came to meet Brooke she spent the whole night trying to think of something to spark conversation but was so nervous her mind went blank. Brooke quickly became one of Mary Elizabeth's favorite people with her kind nature and peppy personality (plus she bonded with Luffy)! With that very first hug Mary Elizabeth knew being sisters would come easy!
Father of the Bride
I teach at Tri High School where I also coach football and wrestling. When coaching wresting at Shelbyville Middle School I coached skinny little 6th grade Cody. He was respectful, had a great attitude and worked hard, a coach's dream. After coaching him in 7th grade, I retired from coaching but saw Cody sometimes as he was a friend of my daughter, Mary Elizabeth. I mentioned to her several times that I thought she should date Cody but she always claimed they were just friends. Raising a large family Ruthie and I worked several jobs to send the kids to catholic schools and keep them in their activities. On weekends I cooked breakfast for the family. Mary Elizabeth would sit on the counter in the kitchen and sing with me. James Taylor's You've Got a Friend has become our own little anthem.
Mother of the Bride
All I ever wanted was to be a mother! I have been abundantly blessed with my children. With Mary Elizabeth I have experienced one of the most frightening and one of the most joyous days of my life. Dec 2, 1992 I was told we might lose our baby girl. I was put on bed rest for 4 months, constantly praying. On June 3, 1993 the good Lord answered our prayers and our Mary Elizabeth was placed in my arms for the first time - healthy, beautiful & perfect! Mary Elizabeth and I share a love for musicals, Doris Day movies, White Christmas and so much more. A memory I cherish is singing Hello Dolly together. That memory will forever make my heart happy. Cody coming into Mary Elizabeth's life is another answered prayer for us! I'm so very happy for them both, that they have found true love & happiness.
Father of the Groom
I’ve been married 33 years to my high school sweetheart and was blessed with 2 wonderful children. I worked at ICD for 20 years, 15 of which I was in management. I started my own business in 2006. Cody started working with me in 2016. He has been doing a great job helping our business grow. I remember traveling to Mexico a lot for work when Cody was young. He called me and told me to come home. I explained to him that I had to stay there for 2 more weeks and he said “No, I’m going to put my boots on and walk to Mexico to come get you”. I’m so thankful that Cody and Mary found each other and connected the way they did. She is exactly what I’ve always pictured for Cody. I’m excited that both my children have found someone to spend their lives with and I can’t wait to watch my family grow.
Mother of the Groom
I got married at age 20 to the man I love very much. We have been married for 33 years and have 2 wonderful children that we are proud of and blessed to have.I work as a Shipping Coordinator and have been there 29 years! Cody and I have many memories together but the one that always stays with me is when I got to hold him the first time! I never wanted to put him down. I had complications so that moment meant the world to me. We also loved laying on his bedroom floor many nights on his big red pillow reading books. I loved reading to him and he loved reading to me. I will always cherish it. When I met Mary I knew she was the right one because Cody was so happy with her. She fit right in with the family from day 1. We absolutely love her and so happy to add her to our family. Love you both!
Flower Girl
Charlotte will be 2 years old at the wedding and is already working on getting that strut down. She's an independent baby being groomed to be a Disney kid like her mama and Mary Elizabeth (her meme). Lottie was a covid baby so she didn't get to be socialized right away but had many video calls with Mary Elizabeth and still does to this day. Lottie accompanies the bride and bridesmaids on most visits and everyone cannot get enough of her. She will make a beautiful flower girl!
Flower Girl
Kora's personality is the spitting image of her mom (and of Mary Elizabeth). She is quite a kick with her sassy personality and go getter attitude. Kora lives dance and she loves banking time with her mom. She definitely knows what she wants and is excited to be a flower girl for the very first time!
Ring Bearer
Elliott is Mary Elizabeth's nephew (soon to be Cody's too!) and he is an avid gamer. He can't wait to be a YouTuber (when mom says he's old enough of course 😅). El loves to sing, dance, and practice various accents.

Isabella is Mary's cousin. She has always been incredibly mature for her age and always so kind. Mary Elizabeth's favorite memory of her is when baby Bella would sit under the table at Indiana Beach and sing the 50 states song with empathize on OHIIIIIIIIO! Now she is growing into an amazing artist and athlete. Bella is respectful and compassionate. She takes am interest in volleyball, cooking delicious meals, and letting her creativity shine through beautiful artwork and elaborate story telling. Bella is certainly a well-rounded, intelligent, and beautiful person whom Mary Elizabeth and Cody are so blessed and so grateful to have as part of their receiving of the sacrament of marriage.

Matthew is Mary Elizabeth's cousin and Kora's brother. They're excited that they both get to participate in the wedding together. Matt has a quieter personality but if you start a conversation about football he can go on forever. Matt loves working out with his mom and playing football (in which he seems very well versed). He is one of the kindest young men his age you will ever meet, very rarely (if ever) having anything negative to say. Matthew is strong and can stay positive through hard and scary times. He recently had a scare that he wouldn't be able to play football anymore but he faced it bravely and head-on. God had a hand on him and he walked out well and ready for next season! It is truly a gift to have this kind, loving soul as part of the ceremony.

Hope is Mary Elizabeth's cousin. She has an incredibly kind heart and is an excellent role model. At a young age Hope began leaving sweet notes around the house and recognizing her many blessings, making sure to pray thanks. Hope always exudes a good attitude and her smile is contagious. She doesn't hesitate to say hello to all she passes. Hope loves volleyball and family. She is a smart, empathetic, respectful, and hardworking girl with strong faith. Mary Elizabeth and Cody could not be happier to have her take part in the ceremony as they become husband and wife.

I like golfing and watching movies. I recently started working with the post office. Cody and I met in 6th grade during wrestling and have been inseparable ever since.
Groomsman
Cody and I met during Babe Ruth baseball way back when we must have been 7 or 8 at most. We played on multiple teams together and became close. Regardless of physical distance at some points I’m glad to say we’ve remained that way over the years. One of my favorite memories with Cody was getting to go to state with him in track our senior years and getting to completely skip the majority of our graduation ceremony. Needless to say, I’m honored to be a part of he and Mary’s big day as they begin their new chapter of life together.

I met Cody, when he wrestled in High school and I was a volunteer for Coach Hall. Then we coached together for 5 years. Cody also attended my wedding when he was in high school so I am excited that I get to be a part of his now!
Groomsman
I met Cody in high school. I don't remember when but we have hung out since. We wrestled together, then I even coached him in wrestling. We went to youth group and church together. I hate Cody less than I hate most other people and that is why we get along.

I have been a fire fighter at Edinburgh for a year and a half. On my days off I install garage doors for Martin overhead door. When I first met Cody I was nervous because it was Brooke’s older brother and I saw the bond they had together. Over the years we have become really close and he is the best future brother in law anyone could ask for. I am grateful to be apart of his wedding!
Groomsman
I am Cody’s Uncle Dave! I am a Teacher and Coach at Greensburg High School. I am the youngest (and greatest sibling to his Mom. I've known Cody his entire life and have enjoyed watching him from the wirey young kid phase to the driven young man he is today. Cody and I always clicked due to our similar personalities and love of sports. I loved watching him play. We bond over music, which can be blamed on his Dad. I’m lucky to have Cody as a nephew but it’s more than that. He's one of my closest friends. Cody’s greatest characteristic is his love of family. He is the best big brother, a respectful son and I’m so grateful to be part of his life. He found the girl of his dreams and I am honored to stand up with him as we accept Mary into our family! She fits in perfectly…better than I do :)
Groomsman
I am Mary’s little brother and the youngest in the family. I’m currently a graduate student at IU studying political science. Growing up, Mary always made a point to come to whatever extracurriculars I was involved in. Cody was a senior on the track team when I joined as a freshman, but I didn’t meet him until he “accidentally” ran into Mary while we were out one night. I’m excited to have a new brother and a new addition to our golf group!
