Short Pump Towne Center / Short Pump area
If you’re staying at Home2 Suites in Short Pump, Short Pump Towne Center, is an outdoor shopping mall conveniently located right across the street. There are a lot of popular stores there and places to eat. The Boathouse and Casa Del Barca are my favorite places to eat in the mall. Around the area there are so many places to eat like West Coast Provisions, The Daily, Wong’s Tacos, Dave’s Hot Chicken, Tazza, Chicken Salad Chick (one of our fav places to eat in Roanoke), Cupertino’s Bagels, Peter Chang, Buttermilk & Honey, and YaYas Cookbook. Also, of course, Gelati Celesti for ice cream!
Carytown
If you have time we recommend exploring the Carytown area. There are some fun/unique stores and lots of great places to eat. It is located around 20 minutes from the hotel! Great places to eat in the area include Can Can Brasserie, Greek on Cary, Lolita’s, the Daily Kitchen & Bar, and more! If you want a cocktail, the Jasper is a great spot as well. Scott's Addition Historic District
Another great area of Richmond with lots of great places to eat or get drinks. Some great options include: To Eat: Pinky’s, Lucky AF, Lost Letter or LUNCH.SUPPER! To Drink: The Veil, Starr Hill, Brambly Park, Vasen Brewing, the rooftop at the Hofheimer Other: Stella’s Grocery for coffee, dessert, food, etc, Blanchard’s for coffee, and Gelati Celesti for ice cream
The Museum District/The Fan
Check out the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts or one of the other museums in that area! Eat at Uliveto, Gersi, Garnett’s, Brazen, Nate’s Bagels, etc., grab coffee at Lamplighter, wine at Jardin, drinks at Fanboy, or dessert at Shyndigz!
