Question

What should I wear?

Answer

We request formal attire. Men: Suit, tie/bow tie, and dress shoes. Tuxedos are NOT required. Women: Floor-length dresses or an elevated cocktail dress. Feel free to wear colors, patterns, etc! Please note, when thinking about shoes, our wedding will be outdoors, with a mix of paved walkways and some gravel areas. The bridesmaids will be wearing a dark ‘espresso’ brown color.

When should I RSVP by?

We kindly ask that you RSVP no later than August 1st, 2026. This is important for us to finalize all the details!

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend arriving to the venue around 4:00 PM to allow time for parking and to get seated. Our ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30 PM.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We are so excited to celebrate with our closest loved ones! To help us keep our guest list intimate, we kindly ask that only those designated a plus one to bring a guest. If your invitation includes a guest, their name (or “and guest”) will appear with yours on the RSVP.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

As much as we love your little ones, our wedding is an adults-only celebration. Only children involved in the wedding will be in attendance.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors followed by an outdoor-tented reception. Please keep this in mind for planning your attire. If it rains, the ceremony will be moved under the tent as well.

Will there be parking?

Answer

Yes! Historic Whitewood has ample amount of parking on-site. They will have parking attendants to direct you where to park. For those who may need extra assistance, a golf cart will be available to help transport any guests with mobility needs.
